"This hotel is perfect for a layover near the airport. You can take the 205 bus directly from the airport to the hotel. It's made up of four buildings, and I stayed in building 3. The spa is in building 4. There's a park and the beach right in front, and plenty of restaurants behind the hotel. The front desk staff can speak Chinese. They don't provide toothbrushes, but everything else is very smart and modern."

"I recently stayed at Ibis Styles Myeongdong in Seoul, and overall it was a pleasant experience that balanced comfort, convenience, and affordability. The hotel’s location is definitely one of its strongest points. It’s within walking distance of Myeongdong shopping street, which made it very easy to explore local food, street markets, and shops without needing much transportation. There are also subway stations nearby, making it convenient to reach other parts of the city. The room itself was compact, which is quite typical for hotels in Seoul, but it was clean, modern, and well-organized. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep, and the amenities provided were sufficient for a short stay. I especially appreciated the large windows, which offered a nice city view. One highlight of the hotel is the rooftop area. It provides a great panoramic view of Seoul, especially at night, and it’s a nice place to relax after a long day of walking around the city. The staff were polite and helpful, although communication in English could sometimes be a bit limited. Still, they did their best to assist with requests and directions. As for the downsides, the room size might feel a bit tight if you have large luggage, and the breakfast selection, while decent, could be more varied. Overall, I would recommend Ibis Styles Myeongdong for travelers looking for a clean, well-located, and reasonably priced hotel in Seoul. It’s especially suitable for solo travelers or couples who plan to spend most of their time exploring the city."

"This is my 3rd stay in this hotel. The location is very good. The street store is just below the hotel. The room is big for a family of 4. The room is clean. Service is getting better and better. Just like this hotel. Will come back again for sure ☺️"

"This hotel offers incredible value for money, seriously the best I've found in my dozen-plus trips to Korea! The front desk has self-service bottled water, tissues, coffee, and even contact lens solution. The room has a smart toilet and enough space for two large suitcases. The Incheon Airport bus 6007 takes you directly near the hotel, and it's about a 5-minute walk from there. Getting around by public transport is super convenient, as long as you're patient enough to figure out the local maps. A taxi to Gimpo Airport is only about 20 minutes and costs around ₩80,000 (roughly $80 USD). The hotel is located in an alley, so I wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers, but it's perfectly fine if you're with a group. The room wasn't spotlessly clean, but the bedding was great, and while the shower didn't have a separate wet/dry area, the water quality was excellent – showers and hair washes felt really good. For ₩30,000-₩40,000 a night, this hotel truly is a fantastic deal!"

"It's about a 10-minute walk from Seoul Station Exit 15. The soundproofing wasn't very good, and both the sheets and towels had some stains. It's acceptable if you're just looking for a place to sleep. They were quite generous with the complimentary amenities."

"Pros: It was my first time staying in a basement room, so I was a bit flustered, but it was just missing a window. The air was fresh, and it wasn't humid or dry, so the condition was really good. The room was very spacious. The floor heating worked well, and I preferred that it wasn't a carpeted floor. The bathroom was also very large, and the pajamas were warm and comfortable. The reception staff were incredibly friendly. It was great to be able to take as much water as I wanted from the first floor. There's an ice machine and a coffee machine on the first floor, which is nice. (Though it felt a bit awkward and embarrassing because the staff would stand up and greet me every time I passed the desk, haha.) Although I didn't use it, breakfast is free. I didn't hear any noise from other rooms, so it seems soundproofed. You can store your luggage before and after check-in. There's a CU convenience store nearby, and many street food stalls and restaurants, which is convenient. It was convenient that delivery drivers could come right to the room door. The location is good, close to the bustling area and bus stops. There's a good speaker. There's a very large TV with loud volume. Cons: The bed was too soft and didn't offer enough support, which caused back pain. (Instead, the floor was spacious and clean, so I slept on the floor.) There were two pillows; one was too high, and the other was a memory foam pillow that felt hard. The hard memory foam pillow didn't pair well with the soft bed, which made my back and neck hurt even more. Perhaps because it's a basement room, I heard the sound of water flowing from the ceiling wall all night. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would consider returning."

"Whenever I visit Seoul, I always stay here. The hotel has a direct indoor walkway to Yongsan Station, so you don't have to worry about getting wet on rainy days. It's also incredibly convenient for getting to Myeongdong, Yeouido, and Itaewon. I stayed in a high-floor room with views of Namsan Tower and the Han River. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a huge plus. The front desk staff communicated smoothly, were polite and efficient. If you arrive early, they can hold your room for you, and you can store your luggage and head out to explore!"

"The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. One staff member went out of his way to help me find the night airport bus when I was worried I might miss it. He even printed a map for me and carefully explained which exit was the closest and easiest to use. As for the room, it was very clean and well-maintained. The hot water worked perfectly, which made for a comfortable stay. Although the room wasn’t very large, it had everything I needed and was just the right size for a pleasant stay."
