"I chose this hotel again, and it felt like rooms were a bit tight during the summer. This time I booked a king-size room; the bed was quite large, but the room itself was a bit small. In hindsight, the first room I stayed in was the most spacious, even though it didn't have a view. Aside from the slightly smaller room, everything else was great. The view outside the window was nice too. I'm not sure if it's because I stay here often, but this time they even gave me complimentary chocolates, which was a lovely surprise. I was very satisfied with the softness of the bed; it was super comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioning in the room was also incredibly powerful; sleeping under the duvet was so refreshing. The room temperature was perfect, to the point where I always had the illusion that it wasn't hot outside, even though Seoul has been scorching recently. The room cleaning was also very timely and done very well. Overall, I still feel it's a great place, and given its excellent location, I'm thinking I'll probably choose to stay here again next time."

It's directly connected to Yongsan Station and IPark Mall, making it super convenient to get around. I stayed in a Junior Suite, and the room condition was excellent, with a fantastic view from the room! The city view of the Han River and Seoul's downtown was truly impressive. With a swimming pool and sauna, it's an excellent place for a 'ho-cance' (hotel vacation) 👍"

"The most delightful surprise of my trip to Seoul was booking this Hanok guesthouse – the experience was absolutely fantastic! First, I must praise the cleanliness of the room; it was incredibly clean and tidy from the moment I entered, without any of the worn-out feel of an old house. What made me happiest was that the room even had a bathtub! After a day of sightseeing, a hot bath in the evening instantly washed away all the fatigue – it was heavenly! The location was also incredibly convenient, very close to the subway station, just a few steps from the exit, making it effortless to visit all the attractions. Plus, the surrounding area is a food paradise; you can find all sorts of restaurants just a short walk away, offering everything from barbecue and soup to snacks – you'll never have to worry about what to eat. What touched me most was that when we accidentally left our belongings at the guesthouse, the host patiently helped us find them and handled them properly – truly thoughtful and responsible! From the environment and facilities to the warmth of the host, this guesthouse was impeccable. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Seoul, and I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"The room size at this hotel was decent, and the decor was simple and clean. The bedding was also very comfortable. We booked a room with a large bathtub, but it took quite a while to fill it up. The only downside was the noise from outside the hotel. There seemed to be some nightlife activities going on upstairs, facing the street, with many people hailing taxis and talking loudly. Also, we asked the hotel to book a taxi for us for 4 AM the next day, and they agreed, but then failed to do so. This was quite surprising to me, as when we walked out at 4 AM, there were plenty of empty taxis and even buses already running. Luckily, we had a backup plan and didn't miss our high-speed train."

"The hotel's location is great. Exit 10 of Myeongdong Station is the closest, and Exit 4 has an elevator, which is convenient for luggage. The airport bus also goes directly there, and it's about a 3-5 minute walk from the stop. The hotel is close to Shinsegae Duty Free, while Lotte Duty Free is about a 12-minute walk away. Just across the street is the Myeongdong shopping area. The room is quite spacious; you can open two large suitcases at the same time. There's a fridge, kettle, and other amenities, but you need to bring your own toiletries. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is a big plus. You can see N Seoul Tower from the hotel's rooftop, but unfortunately, it rained for two days. The rooftop spa can be booked in advance, perfect for relaxing after a day of shopping. There are coin-operated washing machines and dryers on B1, and ironing is self-service, which is quite convenient."

"First off, I need to vent and complain! When I booked, there were options like 'basement room' and 'superior room.' To ensure my child was comfortable, I specifically booked a 'superior room with a window'! To my shock, the 'superior room' was on the basement level, had no window, and was in the farthest corner. I desperately wanted to pay more to switch, but they only had one other room left, and it was even worse. I had no choice but to make do. But the nightmare continued: all night long, there was the constant sound of an elevator, which scared my child to sleep, and I didn't get a wink of sleep myself! The main issue is that the hotel's advertisement *didn't mention it was in the basement* and specifically highlighted 'with a window.' This false advertising completely misled us. When my child and I booked on Trip.com, we requested a room with a good view, quiet, and not in the farthest corner! This room was in the basement, windowless, had elevator noise, and was in the very last corner—I was terrified! If there wasn't a suitable room, the hotel could have informed me in advance, but I received no notification or communication. The hotel's ad looked great, but it was truly dreadful! I wanted to mention some other good points, but I spent a lot of money only to end up in a basement room! I'm so upset! Oh, and even though the bathroom was large, the shower drain was clogged. The water went above my ankles when I showered, and it still hadn't dried completely by the next morning. It really shows you can't just trust the ads!"

I absolutely LOVED my stay at SIGNIEL Seoul! 🤍✨ Everything about this hotel was exceptional — from the breathtaking views of Seoul to the beautiful rooms, outstanding service, and luxurious atmosphere. The location inside Lotte World Tower is amazing, and waking up to that incredible view from so high above the city was unforgettable. The staff were extremely professional, kind, and attentive, and they made the entire stay feel special. The hotel is elegant, peaceful, incredibly clean, and every detail feels carefully considered. Honestly, SIGNIEL Seoul became one of my favorite hotels. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back to Seoul just to stay here again. Absolutely loved it and would 100% stay again! ❤️

The room was great, located on the 23rd floor with a stunning lake view. When I booked, I selected a three-person meal option for two adults and one child. The price for a two-person meal and a three-person meal was different at the time of booking. However, upon arrival, the hotel informed me that one of the meals in my three-person package was a complimentary children's meal. Since my child is 13 years old, exceeding the 12-year age limit, they were not eligible for the free buffet breakfast, and I was asked to pay. To avoid disrupting our travel plans and mood, I paid for the meal. However, I find this explanation completely unacceptable. I purchased a three-person meal package, but at the hotel, it was treated as if I bought two meals and received one free. If I had known it was a complimentary meal from the hotel, why would I not just book the two-person meal package and save some money?! I urge Trip.com and the hotel to communicate and provide a satisfactory resolution.

First, let's talk about the positives. The hotel is an 8-minute walk from the subway station, which is quite convenient. It's surrounded by high-end office buildings, so there are plenty of dining options, and they're all quite upscale, super convenient. There's also a green space nearby where you can take a walk; it looks a bit desolate in winter but should be lovely in other seasons. The staff are very friendly; they always greet you when you pass the front desk and are quick to resolve any issues. The kitchenware is high-end, with Swiss brand knives and a very complete and sophisticated set of tableware, definitely five-star quality. The pool also meets five-star hotel standards, with clean water and enthusiastic staff. While breakfast is simple, it's decent for a hotel apartment. Now for the negatives. The corridor has a strong, cheap air freshener smell, which is unpleasant. The interior decor is fine, but there's a lot of dust, as if no one has stayed there for a long time. It looks clean on the surface. Because I had to open the window to air out the corridor's air freshener smell, dust flew everywhere when the window was opened. Even just lifting and putting down the duvet would send dust swirling. Due to static electricity, the dust had accumulated on the walls. The reason is likely that the room was cleaned after the previous guest checked out, then sat empty for a long time, and wasn't cleaned again before my check-in.

The lobby is gorgeous and has a great style. The room isn't big, but I found it quite cozy, and it was very quiet at night, so I slept soundly. We booked a twin room, but the two beds were quite small, only about a meter wide each. We had two small children with us, and the front desk charged an extra 200 yuan or so per person per day, which I found quite unreasonable. If they had provided extra towels, toiletries, or even an extra duvet, or a small toy (without being asked), it would have felt like we were getting something for that value. But as it was, there was no difference compared to not paying, especially since even toothbrushes cost extra. As for cleanliness, don't scrutinize the details too much; a germaphobe would have to turn a blind eye. For example, the bathtub felt dirty to the touch, and there was hair wrapped around the faucet, but we probably wouldn't use it anyway, so don't dwell on it too much.

The hotel's location is truly excellent; you can walk to Myeongdong from any direction in under ten minutes. Reception is on the first floor, and check-in is on the seventh. Your luggage will be delivered to your room. The hotel's overall style is very 'old money' chic. The room cleaning is incredibly thorough, and coffee capsules are replenished daily. The bedding is very comfortable, and the conditioner is especially good. Toothbrushes are priced, so it's best to bring your own. The shower is a seated type, which means it's quite low; if you prefer to stand, you'll need to hold the showerhead yourself.

Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped. Although it's located halfway up a hill, there's a shuttle bus for tourists to Myeongdong and Hannam-dong, and it's also very convenient to call an Uber or a taxi right outside. If you don't go out, you can easily spend half a day at the hotel's swimming pool and gym during the day, and the lobby bar in the evening has a great ambiance with live music. Ambiance: The hotel has a very old-money feel. The window views are beautiful, and the colors of the mountain forest change with the seasons, which I imagine would also change one's experience of the hotel. The rooms are very beautiful; I highly recommend a mountain-view room. Service: The service is exceptionally attentive, breaking away from traditional Korean service. There are staff members at every point, especially in the gym and dining areas, who guide you, so you won't feel lost or confused when you go by yourself.

Mondrian Seoul Itaewon was such a great surprise. The design of the hotel is stunning — every corner feels thoughtfully curated and different from the usual hotel experience. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, and the overall experience feels very premium without being too formal. Everything from the rooms to the common areas has a cool, modern edge that we really enjoyed. Definitely a perfect spot if you’re looking for a hotel with personality in Seoul. 1. The environment is excellent! Other than the room being a bit small and the bed being a bit small, there are no flaws; it's very clean. 2. You can search for ANEUK Hotel on Naver Maps (searching for 'annk' won't work). 3. The lobby on the first floor offers self-service ice, a hot water dispenser, a coffee bar, and disposable tableware, all free of charge! This is fantastic. However, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. 4. Although it's not super close to the city center, the subway is quite convenient. There's a bus stop about 50 meters away that goes to many places. It's relatively close to Hongdae; just a bus ride across the river. 5. Downstairs, there are tons of shops, the kind locals frequent. Eating grilled beef intestines with beer is incredibly satisfying. Plus, ordering takeout is very convenient.

The location was great, right behind the station. Having a 7-Eleven right next door and a supermarket nearby was perfect for enjoying tangerines in the jacuzzi. The heating worked well, and the welcome drink being Kooksoondang Makgeolli was a delightful surprise. Although the wish paper and incense burner were gone, traditional games like Yutnori and Gonggi were still available. The amenities included shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrushes, and disposable toothpaste. There was also a separate foot towel, and plenty of regular towels (6-8 sheets). The herbal tea bag for the jacuzzi had a lovely subtle scent. My only minor complaints were a nail on top of the bathroom towel, a loose power outlet, and while the portable standing TV was a nice touch, there was no remote control. The soundproofing wasn't great; I could often hear the TV, conversations, laughter, and even what was being discussed from the next room. Also, if you opened the jacuzzi window curtain, you had a clear view into the windows of the villa opposite, so it's probably best to keep it closed. Despite these small issues, it was a charming place, and at this price point, I'd say it's worth coming to enjoy at least once.
