"This hotel is indeed the closest to Gotemba Premium Outlets, but it still takes over 5 minutes to walk to the Hillside section. We took a taxi directly from Gotemba Station with our luggage, which cost 1900 JPY. The next day, we took the bus from the hotel entrance to Shinjuku, but it detoured through Gotemba city to pick up other passengers, and we hadn't even left Gotemba after half an hour. Be prepared for this if you're on a tight schedule. The biggest selling point is the view; one side of the hotel directly faces Mount Fuji, which is absolutely stunning. It was foggy on our check-in day, but we saw a clear view of Mount Fuji the next morning, and it immediately felt worth it. Regarding the hot spring: There's a large public bath, but we didn't use it. We pre-booked a private open-air bath for sunset, which cost 7500 JPY for an hour. Unfortunately, it was foggy that day, so we couldn't see Mount Fuji, which felt like a waste of money. Be mindful about dining. If you haven't booked dinner at the hotel, you need to plan ahead. Convenience stores and restaurants at the outlets close early. We ended up relying on takeout that night. There really aren't many options around in the evening. The room was just okay, like sleeping on the floor. This hotel is great as long as there's no fog. If you can't see the view, its only advantage is its convenience."

"Great location, quite close to the bus station, and there's a supermarket right across the street, making shopping super convenient. They have hot springs to relax in, and the complimentary curry udon noodles in the evening are definitely a must-try!"

"The most satisfying hotel of this trip! The room offers an unobstructed view of Mount Fuji, a truly breathtaking sight. It's within walking distance to the outlet mall, and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and clothing shops nearby, plus a forest park. They offer free curry beef rice in the evenings and free coffee and tea at the front desk. The hotel is clean and well-maintained, though the hot springs are a bit basic. I'd definitely consider staying here again."

"I had to book this hotel in Gotemba last-minute because I couldn't make it to Kawaguchiko from Hakone in time for the night. There was only one room left when I booked! The staff were very friendly, and the hotel facilities were excellent. It was also quite affordable for a solo traveler. What's even better is that you can see Mount Fuji right outside the window, making it a great place to stay for 1-2 days."

"This hotel definitely deserves a five-star rating! On February 8th, we were stranded in Gotemba due to a once-in-decades heavy snowfall. Our original hotel was in Kawaguchiko, but all roads were closed. After driving for over three hours, it was clear we couldn't get there, so we had to find a temporary hotel nearby. We booked this place on a whim, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip! 1️⃣ The Japanese-style rooms are large and clean, and they offer a direct, unobstructed view of Mount Fuji. Waking up to such an incredible mountain view right from our room completely made up for any disappointment we had about missing the view from our Kawaguchiko hotel. 2️⃣ The French breakfast was delicious and also came with an unbeatable Mount Fuji view. The servers were all middle-aged gentlemen, and their service was incredibly attentive. The restaurant specializes in French cuisine, and the head chef is very famous; dinner here is definitely worth trying. 3️⃣ Both indoor and outdoor hot springs are available. The vast majority of guests during our stay were Japanese seniors on a leisure vacation. The surrounding environment is perfect for relaxation. 4️⃣ The hotel offers a scheduled shuttle bus service to and from the outlet mall, as well as a bus to Mishima, which is actually very convenient. ❤️ Here's a little anecdote: The night before, based on the shuttle and Gotemba bus timetables, we booked the 10:40 AM express bus from Gotemba to Kawaguchiko. To our surprise, when we arrived at the lobby early the next morning, the staff informed us that there was no bus service on Mondays (this information was indeed listed, but we hadn't noticed it). They helped us arrange a taxi, but it would take an hour to arrive, which would delay our subsequent plans. The lobby manager, learning that we already had tickets for our next leg, immediately said they would arrange someone to drive us to the outlet bus station. A female hotel employee drove us to the outlet in her private car. To fit our three suitcases, she emptied out her own trunk. Seeing the lobby manager smiling and waving goodbye with her trunk full of her belongings was incredibly touching, and it truly reinforced the exceptional quality of Japanese service. I will definitely return to this hotel if I have the chance, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy mountain views and hot springs after shopping in Gotemba."

"Hotel room is big, with power points and USB ports on both sides of the bed, and they acceded to our request for a Mt Fuji facing room and we were able to see Mt Fuji from our room window despite our room being on level 2 (hotel has 4 levels) though there were power cables obstructing the view a little. The free nightly ramen, ice creams and morning Yakults are good additions. Besides having Onsens and Saunas, they also have a level 4 open air footbath where you can have a clear view of Mt Fuji while soaking your feet. Parking is free but lots at the actual hotel site may be limited and if the car park is full, you may have to park across the hotel at a park’s car park. Gotemba outlet mall is about 10mins drive away and nearest convenient store is less than 5mins drive away."

"Location is good and within 10 minutes drive from the Gotemba Premium Outlet. Hotel rooms are slightly dusty, but good for short stays especially after outlet visits :) Public hot springs are spacious and better than expected, with both indoors and outdoors available. Some rooms can see the Mount Fuji. Otherwise, 12/F is available for public access with a panorama view of Mount Fuji. Breakfast is also satisfying."

"Spacious room 2 double bed Everyday Housekeeping Location near to Premium Outlet. Near to Highway Acess because I'm driving 2 minute walking distance to Halal Local Japanese Food Restaurant. Have in room Sauna which is a surprise, a bathtub and mineral water cooler in the rooms. Very happy to choose this Hotel for our 4 nights stay."

"After the reservation was placed, the hotel confirmed it quickly. It is about 1 km away from the tram station, about 20 minutes' walk. The front desk service is good. The hotel includes breakfast, snacks and drinks. Mount Fuji can be seen through the window."
