"Holiday Inn, owned by InterContinental, has always been the first choice for working families to go on vacation. The breakfast, bedding, hygiene and service are quite satisfactory. Fortunately, I was able to enjoy the bar concert in the ventilation duct for free for 2 consecutive nights, which was full of Mexican flavor! However, the deposit has not been returned after 2 weeks!"

"The hotel was a fairly new property. It had a contemporary vibe which I like. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and I wanted to know where they bought the pillows - they were that nice. The room was clean but there was a large brown stain on the carpet. The breakfast was as expected but even at close to 10:00 there was still ample food to choose from - bagels, fruits, yogurt, waffles, sausage, eggs. I would gladly return if in the area. Oh, and the young man at the desk was awfully helpful. If correct, I believe his name is Liquit."

"Clean rooms and comfortable stay. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good and fairly priced. They have a shuttle bus if you need to go somewhere which is convenient. Pool was out of order for cleaning but not a big deal as there are plenty of places to swim in Austin."

My room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect rest after a long day of travel. The room’s modern amenities, including a large flat-screen TV and fast Wi-Fi, made my stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of my visit was the complimentary breakfast offered each morning. The selection was impressive, with a variety of options to suit every taste. "I was extremely upset to see a movie with nudity and a scene of a nude man and a woman having sex (AKA porn) on the lobby / breakfast room television. I was even more upset when after asking the the manager, Diana, to change the channel she came into the area and I instead of just changing the channel to something more appropriate, asked the man seated behind me if it was okay for her to change the channel as if something like that was up for a vote among guests instead of hotel policy. To say I was angry at the way she mis-handled this would be an understatement . Despite the fact I stayed at this Hampton at least a half dozen times last year or so , I won’t be returning. Keep porn off public televisions and teach managers how to deal with matters of corporate policy would be my suggestion Hampton/Hilton. Otherwise the location is good and the rooms are clean. Too bad they allow unclean programming to be played on their television in the public area. Thankfully no children were in there at the time this occurred. "

"We are staying here for a short time after sending our children to school. In a strange city and country, we need a hotel that is comfortable, friendly, close to the school, and has a large space. This store fit our needs perfectly and the decor and generosity of the great Texas decor is evident in many ways. The room is quite large. The one we stayed in is on the second floor and has the largest terrace. It is a particularly slow-paced enjoyment to watch the cars passing by in the morning and evening, and to look at the University Bell Tower in the distance. Breakfast is all you can eat, service is good"

"Perfect!! New and SPOTLESS room. Yes, a little small for American standards but more than enough for a short stay. Good breakfast, with healthy options (fruit, good yogurt, omelettes)… my husband would have liked more options but I had to remember him that it’s a 2-star hotel. It did not seem like that, but above 😊 Body soap, shampoo, condicioning and body cream. The only thing that I missed was a hairdryer… I have brought one just in case from some others 2-star hotels reviews. I didn’t ask but I am pretty sure that they would have provided one at your request. The room also had an iron & iron table. Very kind personnel. And… kids stay for free!! We are a family of three but even better deal for a family of four!! Close to the highway, 15-20 min driving to Capitol and downtown… and perfect location to explore the sorroundings!!"

"The family traveled by road with five ports. I stayed here for two nights. It was nice and clean. There was free breakfast in the morning. If I go to Texas next time, I will stay here again."

"1. To make the stay best decide if you’re driving or using a taxi . If you drive be sure to check in first then park in front of the hotel unpack then park in the weworks parking . Works best with small cars big cars are hard to park there .  2. The rooms are like the luxury hotels in Japan . All iPad controlled from tv , lights , to blinds . 7/11 , grocery stores, gyms , luxury restaurants and bars even a bus stop all literally less than a few steps away. Very clean and very nice staff  .  I would stay again but just chose to park else where when going ."

"Come to Austin mainly to see the UT campus where the children used to study. The hotel is not far from the campus. The hotel staff is warm and the room is clean and tidy. The fly in the ointment is that the air conditioner in the room is split. The sound is too loud when booting, affecting the living feeling."
