Hotel Erna is located on the old Brenner road at 1100m in Gossensass (Colle Isarco since 1919, when Italy annexed South Tirol). The family owned & managed hotel offers 19 rooms over 2 floors. Complimentary a South Tyrol Guest Card with free use if bus, train & cable cars. Service is welcoming and very friendly. We had an adequately furnished & decorated room with a good single bed, desk & chair, wardrobe & safe, club-chair, and TV on the desk. We had a balcony with chairs and view of the valley and the towering Brenner highway. The separate bathroom had washbasin, shower, and toilet. Free Wi-Fi. All was very clean. A very good buffet breakfast is offered with a nice variety: cold cuts & cheeses, eggs made to order, butter, bread & toast, cereals, fresh fruit salad, milk & yoghurts, juices, rolls & croissants, water, good tea & coffee made to order. We found Hotel Erna charming, and we had a very good stay. Recommended.

Very beautiful and characteristic structure. The wellness rooms are complete and clean. The tranquility of the place and the kindness of the staff have a beautiful combination. Very good and well-stocked breakfast. Complete dinner with typical products. Ales güte. We will definitely be back

Fantastic hotel, wonderful view with mountains, surrounded by greenery... You can breathe clean air. Inside there is a unique welcome, relaxing in its pure state... We were guests for 4 days but we didn't feel like one... we practically felt at home. Harmonious and comfortable structure, managed with great professionalism and love by Mrs Brigitte and her aunt. Rich breakfast, superlative dinners. excellent value for money. The Erna hotel is a valid location for any need. The SPA strong point. Highly recommended. I spent 10 nights in this hotel, chosen almost by chance, quickly. Thanks to the kind welcome and exquisite hospitality of Birgit, her aunt and the entire staff we were able to spend wonderful days of vacation. A very clean little gem of a hotel, with beautiful common areas and in characteristic mountain style, with excellent cuisine (thanks to the chef for adapting the dishes every evening to our needs/allergies), varied breakfast, well assorted and continuously replenished (there was hardly any happened to find a lot of attention in this sense). A place to recommend and where you can certainly reschedule your holidays also because it is an excellent starting point for other destinations in Alto Adige (train within walking distance and free thanks to the cards provided by the structure) and nearby Austria. Congratulations again and see you soon!

We spent the Christmas holidays in this wonderful hotel, managed by two ladies, Helga and Birigit. We felt at home at all times. The attention to detail is excellent, the food exceptional (a big compliment to the chef), the rooms extremely clean and tidy, the service attentive and personal. The spa was a welcome surprise, an oasis of relaxation and peace. We will definitely be back next year, and maybe even sooner. Thanks and a hug to the owners, you gave us wonderful days.

I chose this hotel to spend a few days with friends during the Immaculate Conception holiday. We had a great time, clean and spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff for every request and finally I couldn't forget the fabulous cuisine: every evening they amazed us with different typical dishes!
