My recent stay at the Carlton Hotel Buda Castle in Budapest was largely defined by its absolutely awesome location. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in the historical heart of the city, this hotel is a fantastic choice.
Being just minutes away from both the majestic Buda Castle and the picturesque Fisherman’s Bastion was a huge plus. I particularly appreciated the convenience for early risers – those who wish to view the stunning sunrise and enjoy the area before the crowds arrive (potentially with free entrance before official opening hours) will find this hotel incredibly convenient, as it's just a short stroll away.
Furthermore, the hotel's location also allows for a pleasant walk to the viewing area across the river from the Parliament building. Seeing the illuminated Parliament at night from the opposite bank was a memorable experience, and it was easily accessible on foot from the hotel.
The room itself was cozy and comfortable, providing a welcome retreat after a day of exploring. The bed was comfortable, and the room had everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
However, there was one notable downside: the soundproofing could be improved. I occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which sometimes disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Room was immaculate! I’m very particular with the bathrooms and happy with overall cleanliness! The location is also very accessible and close to restaurants/cafe, sightseeing. Great service!

Room space not comfortable felt a little bit of tight , It was quite clean and had daily service for room . The location was good for visiting Buda area which is for castle and old palace.
I wonder this carbon was belong to the group one or not ?
The reception girls are not quite warm to host new guests wish it is abnormal to that day.

The room is quite big for a hotel in Europe. The hotel is in a very good location, very close to all the attractions. There is a sightseeing bus at the door, a small tram to Fisherman's Bastion, and a mountain cable car. It is really very convenient. The hotel service is very good, and the front desk and all the staff are very polite. During the Easter period, all the facilities in the hotel are very atmospheric, and even the breakfast makes everyone feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel.
