My second stay at this hotel. Very happy to see, after my previous comment that it would be nice to have tea & coffee making facility in the room, the hotel reached out to me saying it is available if I ask at the desk. On this stay, it was already in my room. SO good to see a hotel that is proactive to feedback. Definitely my go-to hotel whenever I am in Budapest!

The hotel is superbly located. In the city center and near the metro and buses to the airport.
The room was a bit dirty especially the carpet. The bathroom was very clean and the bed too. Better than expected given the comments I saw.
The overall atmosphere and decor of the hotel are lovely and very climatic.
If they can clean better it would be great.
I would stay again if visiting Budapest.

I stayed 1 night in a 4 bed with private bathroom room. I really liked it, the bed was very comfortable and I could have private space thanks to its curtain. The bathroom was also clean, though I found it a little bit too small. The location is also perfect, so I can only recommend. What I didn't like was that the towel is not included - you can rent it for extra cost. This should be removed from the description of the room amenities and also the pictures are misleading.

Delightful little hotel in a quiet but easily accessible area of Budapest.
Rooms were clean, nice and warm. Heating could be adjusted to your own preference.
Paid for Breakfast consisted of a Coffee of choice and two delicious warm croissants.
There is a private courtyard for Al fresco drinking or chilling out.
Highly recommend to friends and family.

Did not sleep well here at all. There is no privacy in the room, it's not expensive or difficult to put up some sheets or curtains. Very poor effort. It's like sharing a room with your siblings all over again. Very thin walls too so the next door group kept us awake
It's supposed to be quiet after 10pm but they all late check in, as a result I was woken by 2am check ins. The socket next to my bed didn't work, neither did the lamp. The pillow is dreadful. The bed is ok. Window didn't close fully and no curtains so sunrise woke me up.
Excellent kitchen, comfortable lounge areas, 3 showers & 1 bathroom. All cleaned reasonably well. Check in was easy enough, she is very friendly.
The building is absolutely beautiful. The entrance is next to PIZZA ME and a money exchange/kebab store. Supermarkets nearby. Metro & tram nearby. It is in an excellent location.
It was cheap and actually good value, I just didn't sleep well
If you like privacy and quiet then maybe give this one a swerve

The Ritz-Carlton room card always has the simple English spelling of the city. After collecting it twice, I just want to collect more. This problem really needs to be corrected hahaha.
The Ritz in Budapest is right next to the Ferris wheel and not far from the subway entrance. There is also a pedestrian street nearby, so transportation is convenient.
The service at Ritz has always been very good. When you checked in, you were given a welcome drink. You were polite and attentive throughout the entire process. During the check-in process, you also received a fruit basket specially sent to celebrate the Chinese New Year. It was really warm.
The room is about 30 square meters, which is smaller than domestic rooms at the same price, but overall it is clean and comfortable.
The bed is really comfortable, someone comes to turn it down at night, and two large bottles of water are provided for free in the room.
The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub. The shower space is a bit small, but the hot water is very good. The bathrooms are all made of Hansgrohe, and the toiletries are all diptyque fig series.
The overall experience was really comfortable. The only flaw during this trip was that someone was playing the piano selflessly in the lobby at 11 o'clock at night, but no staff stopped him in time, and he had to call and complain to solve it.

Services provided by the staff are excellent.The room is clean but the bed is not so comfortable as the mattress sunk in at the side which we cannot sit on the bed edge
We stayed for 5 nights but was only given one bottle water - we asked and was told only first day is complimentary but after which if we want bottle water - we have to pay for it.🙀

AAmrLovely new elegant and quiet, it’s like an oasis in the middle of Budapest. But I found a spider in my room so please check well ass it’s very hot there and bugs are more numerous, would stay again!

JJielunFirst time in Budapest and we decided to spend our first night at the Rock Hotel. The hotel has an outstanding location, walking friendly to many tour sites and restaurants.
The room we booked isn't that spacious and we barely had enough space to store two 28inch suitcases in our room. But we still had a good experience here, memorable parts are the record player and the comfortable bed. As a five-star hotel, it is slightly more affordable than some of the others, given the price we spent, I would rate our experience a 9/10.

SStrozekI had a great stay at Hotel President. The location is convenient, very close to Basilica and Danube the room is clean, no noise from the street, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with some local food . I highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserWe stayed here on our 1st nite before a river cruise, we had a great room on the 6th floor over looking the River Danube with views of the beautiful Parliament building - can't complain.
Although the room was very modern, the carpet was quite stained, there was a lot of thick dust on the ledge over the bed and under TV consul and also the toilet seat was quite stained and not up the usual 4 * standard.
We also stayed 1 night after the river cruise room 123
Same stained carpet, filthy remote control, and a lot of ant like bugs on bedclothes and furniture, which we showed to reception. We received a complimentary drink voucher (👍)
And offered housekeeping, which we declined as we were heading out for dinner. The curtain had a black cigarette burn quite visible, which wasn't nice to look at.
On a positive note, the staff were very helpful on check-in.

夏夏夏云云The location is perfect. Right in the center of the city. Really near to airport shuttle bus station, 5 minutes walk. The room however was a disappointment. The first room they put me in the bed has crumbs all over it. Asked them to clean, they put me in a new room instead. The bed was not comfortable, the duvet was soo old and smelly. Pillow as well. The worst was the bathroom. It has a very foul smell 😩.
I would not go back again. But then its very cheap and location is not bad!

MMilanThe hostel is not far from downtown, three metro stops from Deak Ferenc ter (square), the central downtown transit hub. And the metro station is 100 meters from hostel. I was received by an unkind and unfriendly female receptionist who did not want to give me a bed far away from the AC. I checked in at 15:30, when the other beds were available, but she was just lazy to change my bed. In the evening as the AC was blowing so hard and I did not want to wake up sick in the morning, I had to ask another receptionist to find me another room where the AC was blowing normally. He had a hard time to find another bed. When the next day during check out I talked to the manager and stated that I was not happy with the unkind receptionist, she got even more angry. However, the front desk manager noted my complain about the AC and said they would be working on it. Upon picking my luggage I noted that my towel was stolen from the towel rack on the fourth floor terrace. Actually, you have to pay to rent a towel, and some guests do not want to do it, they prefer stealing other guest’s towels. I checked out with the front desk, and they investigated the missing towel with cleaners, but did not find my towel, which was very different than hostel’s ones. I was happy that my luggage that was left at the reception desk upon check out was ok.

1. There are two check-in points. But the names are different. The store did not explain. It cost a lot of trouble on the day of check-in. I stood in the cold wind for more than 20 minutes that night.
2. No catering. There is also no refrigerator. The surrounding restaurants are very expensive. The breakfast restaurant introduced by the store is far away. The store's explanation of the address was also unclear, and it took a lot of trouble to eat breakfast for the first time.
3. There is no supermarket within at least one kilometer
4. The hotel is located in a residential building. Go through the security door when going out. The security door is equipped with a door open button, which is 4-5 meters away in a straight line, and the store did not explain. There are two green lights flashing on the security door, always thinking that it is a button to open the door, but it has never been successfully opened, always let passersby help.

DDaninemoI arrived after 8pm, and after waking from Gere to there to find the office, I found out it was closed, I had 0 directions on how to check in. I am fine if there is no front desk, but if I already paid, I expected to have at least some instructions in advanced
Also, the entrance of the building for the apartments, doesn't look safe at all. When you are inside the apartment, you can't lock the apartment. (They said it locks by itself)
My studio was next to the cleaning room, so don't expect to rest in the morning, as you will wake up with all the noise they make.
For my needs, I won't stay here again.

AAbbeyLocated centrally within a short walk to a number of good bars, restaurants and cafes however it can get noisy until the early hours of the morning. The apartment was compact but big enough for 2 people however the bed was a very small queen. There was only 1 coffee capsule for 2 people staying and although there were lots of electrical sockets, they were all for European plugs and not one had a USB connection which would be far more useful for most travellers. The bathroom mirror was laughable - I’m 5ft 2” and could just see the top of my head in it!
Instructions to gain entry were emailed on check-in day, which also included downloading an app. This would’ve been useful to know prior to travelling.
