This lodge has a very calming vibe, perfect to relax after a great safari in queen elisabeth national park. If you are lucky, from the raised terrace you will see the hippos grazing in the evening. The rooms are very clean, the staff is very friendly. Top place.

What a special place to stay right in the heart of QENP. Hippos for company at dinner, warm service from the staff, and comfortable and clean rooms with touches of luxury, especially the shower and view from the balcony! This place is great value for money. A special shoutout to Jerome for his excellent guiding and Joseph for his fantastic service and all round friendly demeanor. I hope to be back! One slight negative: the mosquito netting in my room needs replacing. Otherwise, no issues.

Fab location over-looking the park, feels like you are in the bush with animals around like warthogs and buffalo. The food was great, 3 course meal very delicious. They also give complimentary lemongrass tea, nice touch. The rooms were great, real safari feel with nice outdoor showers. The restaurant is fab for sunset. Staff were accomodating and the owner Robert was very pleasant and friendly to deal with. Looking forward to returning when the buildings/new restaurant are complete. Minor things to improve on: -They need to look at the prices for sodas, as they overcharged us. (4k for plastic bottle krest and 3k for plastic bottle coke as it was smaller..). -The rooms have no locks, being close to the communities with no boundaries around the camp this made me feel a little uneasy. The owner said they will be adding locks with future improvements. -lights along the walkways for safety. -labeling the cottages with names or numbers as it was a little confusing to know which was yours at night.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Kazinga Wilderness Camp. Everything at the facility was awesome. The Beds were comfortable, the cottages were amazing just made out of wood and we loved how it blends with nature. The Major Highlight was the bush breakfast they prepared for us on day 2. It was a romantic one and we thought. We loved it! The meals were tasty and well served and presented. Thanks to Wildfriends Africa Safaris for booking for us a nice lodge for our honeymoon. We highly recommend it.

Really frustrated with this place as so much potential and yet it seems they can’t be bothered to change things. First of all, there’s no wifi in the rooms and the supposed wifi in the food area works so inconsistently it’s practically useless. The room is also a bit stuffy so a fan would really help. Despite having a mosquito net over the bed, which is truly essential as the environment is SO buggy, mine had a rip at the top, so I spent a miserable night trying to kill the buzzing mosquitos around my ears. Even when my tour guide told the manager about it for the next night, it WASN’T FIXED. Seriously, how useless are you as a manager?! It is pitch black as night so an FYI you need someone to walk you to and fro on the grounds. The outdoor shower is the best part in its design and open ceiling to the stars. The water is hot but there’s only a small trickle. There’s no in between of scalding or cold - I’ve found this all over Uganda. The interior design is rustic and simple, but the wood floors next a good scrub. My feet were dirty after walking across with bare feet. Honestly, the meals were the best part, even though taking orders seemed realllly hard for the slow staff. As if they didn’t understand what items you wanted after being suggested. That said, the scrambled eggs tasted really fresh and the pancakes were a pleasant surprise in being so American 🇺🇸 The tilapia dinner I had one night was ace and the lemongrass tea is light and refreshing. Not so good was the horrid lemon “cake”: stale and dry, just throw it away. The mixed vegetables were also bland. I wouldn’t recommend here overall.

We had a wonderful time in Kazinga wilderness. Located close to the main road and therefore easy to reach. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and in large enough portions. The outdoor shower is fun but works with a special system that gives you an electric shock when you turn on the water. Tip: first turn on the water and then turn on the switch. The location is on the side of the restaurant is beautiful! During the evening meal the buffalos, antelopes, etc. come to graze. There are armed soldiers on the property to guarantee security. The only downside: the nights were terrible. Loud music from the village (one night there was drumming and shouting until 3am, then someone started shouting or praying until 4am. At 5.30am the mosque starts calling the morning prayer through the microphones.) I read in the past reviews that there were also complaints about the night noise from the town. Hopefully something will be done about this, otherwise I fear that the tourists will go somewhere else. We will come back when the night noise is resolved

A unique lodge, very close to the game park. Viewing & dining area, views over the park. Elephants, wort hog, water buffalo & other animals can be seen. Beautiful birds. Comfortable bedrooms, with outside seating, contained in your own bungalow. Outdoor showers which are amazing to use, showering under the stars wonderful! Hippos were seen close by during the night. The food was buffet style. All great & very relaxing.
