This is a pretty good hotel by local standards. It has a casino and the breakfast is decent, though it's a bit humid (which is typical for hotels in the Great Barrier Reef area). The room itself is very spacious, but the air conditioning blew directly on my head, making for an uncomfortable and restless sleep.

I didn't expect to find such a great value hotel in Cairns! There were five of us, and we stayed for four days. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. The swimming pool downstairs was also fantastic, and they even had a hot tub. If I ever get the chance to visit again, I'd definitely choose this hotel.
