Somewhere Inn Calabogie

I stumbled upon this place by chance, and I’m so glad I did. It was exactly what I needed to relax and unwind. The bathtub was perfect for soaking away stress, and the fireplace created just the right ambiance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the upscale decor added a nice touch. The room was spotless, clearly reflecting the owners’ pride in their business. Jen was wonderful—she left a thoughtful, personalized note welcoming me and encouraging me to enjoy my time. She was also easy to communicate with. The location was beautifully peaceful, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing escape. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Somewhere Inn Calabogie is a cozy, comfortable, stylish motel with a modern makeover. Super friendly staff. Great location - loads to see, do, eat and drink. Motel provides great recommendations and will happily make reservations for you.

The experience overall was mid. The rooms are nice and aesthetic, but that's really it. As other reviewers have said, there is absolutely no one available after hours, with the automated message telling you to call 911 in emergency. Their replies say this is reasonable because they "operate like an Air Bnb". Having stayed at many Air Bnbs, this is not the norm at all and totally unacceptable. I was the only person on the property the night I stayed (thankful for this as I'm seeing the other reviewers comments about the thin walls!) but this made me super nervous as a single woman. I also could not get the heat in the room to function and spent the night with in what felt like a sauna, with both heaters loudly clicking on and off, keeping me awake. Speaking of Sauna, couldn't get that up to temperature either, and with no one to help me, I didn't even get to use that, which was one of the main reasons I booked! I even made a point of asking the staff to show me how it worked before they left for the day. They advertise the sauna and cold plunge to the public for $25, but don't have a public shower. I texted in advance to ensure that snow removal would be happening in time for me to make it to the ski hill. They assured me it would be there at 7. Guy was not there until 7:45 and cleared my stairs and exit last. There's an arrogance to their service as well, as they didn't take any of my feedback seriously.

Wonderful experience at this boutique hotel. The rooms are large, well lit and beautifully decorated. The bed was large and comfortable, sheets were crisp and clean. We stayed in one of the rooms with a large soaker tub and after an afternoon out hiking around Calabogie that tub was a dream and a treat. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially when offering suggestions for places to see and where to eat. They were attentive and ensured that all of our needs were met. While the site itself does not have a lot of amenities (there is a sauna, cold plunge tub and a nice lounge), it is perfectly situated to take advantage of everything around Calabogie and to work as a comfortable and relaxing 'base camp' to return to after a day of exploring and adventuring. The site is dog friendly, so we got to experience our time off with our pet which is greatly appreciated. The large lot offered lots of room for her to romp around and enjoy snow. We are looking forward to coming back!

Such an incredible place. The service was great, the room was very clean, and I used the sauna 3 times. They even provide robes. The cold plunge wasn't working however, and I was really looking forward to using it. I went on a hike, walked by the water cross from Somewhere Inn, had great food from the bistro down the road, met some cool people around the fire, and was able to check out later to sleep in. I loved the fireplace in the room and the Nespresso machine! (There are no microwaves or freezers though.) The mini bar and snacks in the room were a good idea too. Emma was very accommodating and answered all my answers. I even arrived to a personalized note on my bed. I cannot wait to come back and recommend anyone wanting to disconnect to stop by.

Loved this place from the minute we drove up, Fall colors helped, but really see how pretty and cozy it can be any season. Rooms were super clean and well stocked, wonderful friendly staff. Rooms have a romantic feel with fireplace, but can also be perfect for a family stay, great for all to enjoy and feel super chill! Love it, will go again! They really thought of everything! Even complimentary s'mores!!♡
