Sol Lunamar Palmanova Apartamentos

My wife and I came back to Majorca for our annual May break and decided to try out Palmanova having received positive feedback from friends. We chose the Sol Lunamar Apartments based upon positive reviews it being adults only and on its location and we were not disappointed. The reception staff are extremely helpful, the rooms are spotlessly clean and the poolside is well laid out and pool bar has a good selection of food and drinks. On our penultimate night my wife took unwell which required medical attention which was all handled by the reception staff with a doctor arriving with 30 minutes on being called. Thankfully a trip to the 24 hr pharmacy for meds and all was sorted. I would certainly recommend these to anyone wishing a relaxing break and certainly be returning next year.

We spent a week at Sol Lunamar. The apartments are very basic but clean. Room cleaned every other day. Staff all very friendly. The pool area is lovely and clean also. Lots of sunbeds. Towels on beds early on in the day but we never had any trouble getting a bed. There’s a pool side bar with food and coffee available. We only got coffees but often saw people getting food. While the apartments are advertised as self catering we didn’t use this facility. The kitchen area is very small and there’s not much space for cooking anything. 2 hobs, microwave, fridge & sink. There’s nothing to clean the dishes with so you would have to buy a scrubber or cloth. The location is the best part of the hotel. Out the back gate and you’re a short walk away from all the restaurants and bars. Lots of shops on your doorstep too. This hotel was just too loud for us. Every time a chair is moved or a tap or shower turned on you can hear it. We had noisy neighbours who were coming home late at night and in and out the balcony door, which was very loud. Equally could hear the TV on etc. We could hear noise from both the apartments beside and above us. The road is also quite noisy. While I am a light sleeper anyways my partner also slept very bad all week. It is for this reason that I would not book again. The beds were not comfortable either. The AC is excellent though. It’s a very basic hotel and we would prefer something a little nicer to relax in also. This hotel is perfect for what you pay for though and the staff are excellent. This is just personal preference.

The rooms are so clean nicely decorated. There is nothing I would change. Hotel is in the perfect position to everything the beach restaurants and the pool area is lovely.I want to come as a solo traveller in October if I could get a good price don't know if you do single rooms!

An excellent first stay and we'll defo be returning. Great place to stay and well situated with great staff. From checking in to checking out we enjoyed a great week, all staff are very helpful and the place is very clean and well kept, well recommended.

We have just spent another fabulous week at Sol Lunamar. This was our fifth stay and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with a warm welcome from the lovely, friendly staff, we felt at home in this safe, secure hotel. As always, the accommodation was spotless and well equipped. Lovely comfortable beds, spacious bathroom with hairdryer, shampoo & conditioner, shower gel and fluffy white towels. The kitchen area has everything we need, cutlery, crockery, utensils & washing up liquid. We went straight out through the well kept gardens, past the gorgeous pool to the secure back gate and into the town where there is an amazing choice of bars and restaurants. The bed linen & towels are changed regularly and nothing is too much trouble for the staff here & they will do everything to make your stay perfect. When we checked out, we had a few hours to kill before our flight home and we are always happy to leave our luggage in the luggage room, access to which is controlled and monitored by reception. Always sad to leave this marvellous place and can’t wait to get back!

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate his 50th birthday, and we were genuinely impressed with our experience. The room was spacious enough for two adults, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The main areas of the hotel were also well maintained—honestly, much nicer than we expected! While I didn’t use the pool myself, my husband did and said it was pretty good. The pool area was clean, with plenty of loungers available, which made it a relaxing spot to unwind. The pool bar was decent and reasonably priced. The location is absolutely perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to the main ***** filled with restaurants, shops, and local amenities. It made getting around so easy and convenient. The reception and bar staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful whenever we needed anything. Mucho gracias for a lovely and memorable stay—we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate!
