Popular Cambridge 4-star Hotels

This is a great little independent hotel close to the heart of Cambridge that has a real touch of luxury for a very affordable price. We had a great time. Lovely drinks in the afternoon, followed by trip into Cambridge and everyone was very friendly. Only slight downside was that the breakfast was, perhaps a little underwhelming rather than that we really really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged for an early check-in, allowing me to store my luggage in my room and promptly begin my exploration of Cambridge.

The boutique hotel host up to rooms with Chinese and European style interiors and have a beautiful public spaces which house bars and communal outdoor areas. The art style interior of the rooms is characterized by combining the past and the future. Everything comes from Cambridge history. The homey and comfortable Mattresses is why I chosen here, we spend around a third of our lives in bed, should give ourselves the best experience, and highest quality rest we can. Excellent value. Breakfast and garden dinner were always a good choice. We will definitely come back in the future!!!

The room is good it is just next to Hyatt hotel but this hotel offered the kitchen room withall sorts equipment’s knifes folks spoons it has an oven It has dishwasher It has wash machine Very convenient

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the city park in the center of Cambridge. It was renovated from an old building, and the interior design is very tasteful. Because it is a traditional old hotel, there are no living facilities in the room other than sleeping (kitchenette and washing and drying machine). It is also a good choice for a short stay of one or two nights.

The hotel is pretty new but the breakfast was so disappointing, food were not the same as menu descriptions. Location is a bit far from central but in a quiet and new area.

We stayed at Holiday Inn for 2 nights between May 30 - June 1 2023. Overall the hotel was great and we had a pleasant stay, we had planned to visit the town center and look at the history of Cambridge thus the location was important to us. It was only a short drive (5 mins) to the centre where we could go punting, shopping and to the universities, museums and gardens. We included breakfast in our stay, which I would highly recommend there was a great selection of foods and the pancake machine was a huge win for us. The only thing we were disappointed with was the fact that dressing robes and waters which are usually complimentary in other hotels we have visited, were not included in the room for free and when we asked we were told we could drink the water from the bathroom, which was not pleasant but other factors such as the fact our room was cleaned regularly and the amazing breakfast did make up for this.

No bed for third person made up, called receptionist I was told someone will come and do it, this was at 19:00 no one ever came, even after following up over the phone. I spent night sleeping without bedding, on plain sofa bed without a single pillow. Terrible experience and poor service. Not enough towels, just for one person & again after calling reception- I was told that they ran out of towels!!! This was enough for my family to bare after whole day of travel, especially the room booked was Executive one. So expected to be up to highest standard and service to be over the top, this isn’t the case. Cleanliness is very poor - see pictures. Dust everywhere and this wasn’t one day worth. After asking for partial refund due to poor service, I was given a silly look and smile, advised to sent email online. Do not bother going there.

The environment is very clean and new. Staff are polite and helpful. I am impressed by the efficiency of a cleaner worker who set up the sofa bed, changing the linen and bed sheet on my room within 3 min .

The room is very nice, clean, well-equipped, very close to the train station, the staff is very friendly, and the public space is also good! The breakfast is quite satisfactory, but there is a lot of dining space. Overall a great experience!
