Best Cancun Hotels

The room is very spacious and the bed is very big. There are too many varieties of fruits for breakfast. There are eight restaurants for dinner. We ate Thai food, which was very appetizing. The service is very good. Except for the cold at the front desk, the other Mexican employees really work hard and feel that they should be tipped.

In general very good, only that they charge you for services when they are included in the package.

I’m writing this review from this stunning hotel in Cancun. If you need some couples time, this is the best place! Nizuc hotel and spa in Cancun Mexico. From where to begin, we took the penthouse with private pool in the room. Hubs booked a package with following services. The view is unbelievable! They are super nice. The spa and hydrotherapy are included in our reservation. The massage therapists offered us variety of services, including aromatherapy, hot stone massage, deep tissue followed by an hour of hydratherapy which is an amazing experience in itself! From hot steam room, sauna, to ice cold water, to hot stone bed, to scalp and foot massage all included in our package. We also kayaked and enjoyed the adults only pool. The bar is suBmerged in water. Pretty cool! Now talking about food. It’s amazing 😍 indochime, Peruvian restaurant and morning buffet (which was included in our package). The service, the food is literally out of the world. If you’re staying in a penthouse you get a private butler. Now the cost, it’s on pricier side, but since we were doing only 2 nights for my milestone bday we indulged🙈. It ended up costing us 1900$/night for 2 nights including everything. But we really enjoyed. It was an unforgettable experience! — at Nizuc Resort and Spa.

Superb hotel, restaurants are delicious, Asian restaurants are confusing, favorite Italian restaurant, the hotel occasionally has a buffet by the pool. Facilities are great, rooms are large, adults only, no children, great stay.

Overall we had a good stay. The hotel hosted our event of the Motosurf World Cup so I'm sure they have a lot of extra people then usual. With that being said there could have been more seating but I think we just had a lot of people there for the event. Bedroom provided ALOT of clothing storage space, beds were comfortable, a ceiling fan, daily room service (possibly twice daily on several occasions without asking), the rooms were just lovely overall. The staff were all very welcoming from cleaning crew, front desk, Gilberto and Moises always there for you when you needed help with bags, transpiration or a friendly face. There is an excursion office located in the hotel just a little off from the lobby. 3 kitchens to order from inside the hotel as well. (Common area) Located on the 12th floor there is a beautiful Gym with separate men and women sauna and indoor jacuzzi. (S floor) meeting and event rooms The hotel is conveniently located next to a shopping mall with plenty of dining options, shopping, OXXO (similar to 711), movie theatre, zip line, food court up top, a gym and so much more. We honestly went out to dinner every night here. ***** DO NOT GO TO Catina Kitchen Lat. 20. They literally looked at us Americans and saw dollar signs and made ordering extremely difficult as if they've never dealt with tourists before. We even spoke Spanish and the entire meal was just a really bad experience. *** Highly recommend CAO and Montemare Everything looks high end and food quality is, but the prices were so cheap it was just a fantastic experience to splurge with amazing meals and not break the bank. Masks were still worn around dining room and buffet, other than that not necessary. They have a little shop in the lobby that's nice for minor things and those forgotten items. Don't ask them to change the color or bend down extra, she gave me attitude because I asked her for a NON pink toothbrush for my boyfriend ”bro your really going to make me bend down again” .... Bro?!? (I'm a female and by no means a bro) I couldn't believe it more funny than anything. This hotel is more of a business luxury vibe, not a Cancun party hotel. Yet very nice if you like to come ”home” to tranquility. Thanks for hosting all of us!

Hotel environment is good! Meals are still ok! There are 4 restaurants in the evening! 3 to book! There are 6.7 at noon, no reservation! Breakfast two restaurants! Room service actually needs to charge 5 US dollars per service fee... There is no welcome drink when you stay! Did not introduce it! Feeling less enthusiastic...

*long review* short version. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Customer service is top notch. Will go back. My wife and I got married there this past weekend and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. This sentiment is echoed by all of our friends and family that attended. We initially signed the wedding package contract with the Ritz Carlton so we had a few trepidations when we heard the news about Kempinski. Though we know of the brand's presence in Europe, we have never stayed in any of their properties. But since we didn't want to go through a another round of searching and negotiations with other properties, we decided to go ahead with it knowing, at least, that the hotel will be beautiful and well-staffed due to their Ritz Carlton roots. It was the best decision we made. From our first step onto their property to the last step heading back home, we were treated like royalty. They made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. In fact, my young niece shed a tear on the last day because she had so much fun and didn't want to leave. Our main contact was Jessica Perez, who coordinated our wedding and made sure that everything was in place and things ran smoothly. The front desk, bellhops and the concierge were all on point as were the cleaners, gym, pool and beach staff and servers. I do have to mention that wait staff for our reception were some of the best we have encountered, I didn't catch all their names but I do have to mention that Efrain and Alvaro of the Fantino restaurant ran things perfectly during the reception dinner. The hotel itself is very charming, which is often the code for ”old” and ”dated”, but in this case, we mean it to say that it is characterized by traditional elements (as opposed to modern). The furniture, fixtures and carpeting are more on the ornate and indulgent side, which gives the hotel a lot of character. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The sheets are of very high quality and the bed is comfortable. We also had a great balcony overlooking the beach. Some of the bathroom fixtures could use a slight upgrade but everything works and the water pressure was good (this is an important item for me). I have read some reviews about the price of their food. Was it expensive? Yes it was but no more than what is available in the area. But the food was quite good and a few of their dishes were really delicious Pretty much all of the restaurants in the resort zone charge US prices for food. You want cheap food? Don't stay in the resort zone. or go to the minimart down the street from the hotel where they sell 6 tacos for 99 pesos. They have a number of swimming pools and happy hour at 4 pm (2 for 1 margaritas). Towels are freely available and there is a section on the beach where they set up chairs (free) and tents (for a fee) for use. There were 29 of us!! Several had upgraded room with butler and he, (Yomelly) couldn’t have been more helpful. Anything we wanted/desired or barely mentioned, he was all over it. My group gave Grand Park an 8/10. The only thing that would have made it a 10 would be more food options. The food provided was good, the rooms and pools very nice…drinks a-plenty, love the coffee & sweets cafe!! As a travel agent, I send a lot of clients to GPR because I’ve stayed twice, I feel it is a 5 ⭐️ resort, walking distance to flea market, easy access to city bus and lots of turtle hatching going on. Felt perfectly safe and will continue to send clients to GPR.

We had a wonderful time. The hotel was very clean. They had five different pools. You had an option of getting alcohol. If you wanted with food it was right by the beach. It was in a very good location. Alan was also very helpful and yeing thank you for making this stay awesome
