Cancun Hotels with Pools

"Hotel is in a good area, close to lots of restaurants, tourist information and markets with street food. The area felt very safe to walk alone at night. The hotel pool was amazing! Lots of seating and big enough that it never felt crowded. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious with a decent amount of variety and it changed daily. So you could try different things on the days."

"Rating: 10/10 Excellent all-inclusive resort in Cancun with outstanding service. We arrived early in the morning, and the staff kindly allowed us to use the buffet right away, which was a very nice and welcoming touch. Throughout our stay, the staff was always friendly, polite, and helpful. Our room was cleaned very well every day, and everything was kept neat and comfortable. On the day of departure, even though check-out was at 11 AM, they allowed us to stay on the property until 6 PM and kept our all-inclusive bracelets, so we could continue enjoying food, drinks, and the facilities. That was truly amazing service. The hotel also has great restaurants on the property, with plenty of delicious options. Overall, a fantastic experience — relaxing, well-organized, and great value for money. We would gladly come back again."

"　The location was a little far from the AD bus terminal, but it wasn't so far from the hotel that I had to use a taxi. I walked about 10 minutes with my suitcase, but some people might find it too far. 　There was no explanation of how to use the in-room safe, so I called the housekeeper, but he didn't speak English, so I had to use a translation app. He still didn't understand, so he came twice. It was good that he came without hesitation, but it wasn't just one visit, so some people might find that annoying. 　The most disappointing thing was that when I went there expecting breakfast to be 6 pesos, I was told it was 150 pesos. The price may have gone up, or it may have been a mistake and it was 6 dollars, but I trusted the information written on the website and applied, but it was completely different, and I thought, ”I've been tricked, I've been scammed.” I hope this will be fixed soon."

"Had all the fixings of a great hotel. However, corners were cut in ways to make for a better experience. The room was not as nice and clean as pictured. The shower did not have great pressure. Our toilet barely flushed. You’ll also benefit from using ear plugs."

"Very average rooms with no kettle. Clean enough and the house keeping ladies are always lovely and attentive The whole hotel Needs refurbishing, beach day beds material old and worn with material falling off. Pool towels are nice and thick and fluffy. Expensive restaurant and always several items not available from menu. Bar near reception has happy hour 6.30-7.30 nightly. 2 for one drinks. Convenience store located directly opposite for snacks and street style Mexican food and tea & coffee. Pool is the highlight of this resort."

"This might just be the best hotel I've ever stayed at! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and they're cleaned daily, so it's always spotless. It's an all-inclusive resort, meaning all food and drinks are covered – and they're all high-quality too. I highly recommend the beachfront restaurant; just remember to make a reservation for the evening. The atmosphere is incredible, and watching the sunset with the sea breeze is pure bliss. The hotel has its own private beach with soft, fine sand, right outside your door. There's also a swimming pool and hot springs. It's connected to other hotels as well, so you can share some of their restaurants and pool facilities. Plus, there's a free show in the auditorium every night at 8:30 PM. All in all, it's incredible value for money. Highly recommended!"

"Refer to my previous review on Aloft Cancun Hotel Zone. That was the reason why I moved to this hotel in downtown Cancun I was more than happy to be here. The hotel itself looked kitschy with some concrete human statues at the entrance. The pool was small (you can enjoy swimming at the beach though). But overall, the vibes was homey! My booking came with free breakfast. The receptionist - Jessica - was very welcoming. She's competent speaking in English and would explain everything you need to know upon check in. She even gave me a printed map of what I can see and do around downtown Cancun. Room was ok, large room with a kitchenette and a proper sink. There's smart TV in the room with Netflix and YouTube. Location wise, it's 5 minutes to Soriana Supermarket, and then cross the road (Avenida Tulum) from Soriana and you're at the ADO Bus Terminal to the airport. You can also take bus R1 on Avenida Tulum to the Hotel Zone. There's a Poke shop next door and a burger (if you are sick of Mexican food). It's 15 mins walk to Mercado 23 (where the locals shop) and you can buy souvenirs way cheaper. You can book Uber and you'd be picked up in front of the hotel. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I visit Cancun in the future."

"I love to stay in this hotel but if I have another chance to visit this place I might choose it 50This was my first time visiting Cancun, and I chose this hotel. I had a wonderful and fulfilling stay, but if I had another chance to come back to Cancun, I would say there’s only about a 50% chance that I would choose this hotel again. Let me share both the highlights and the inconveniences. What I liked: Because I booked the all-inclusive option, all food and drinks were free. The food and beverages at the deck restaurant and on the beach were more than perfect. The quality of the food was excellent, the menu was great, and the fruits and drinks were absolutely the best. The hotel room was very spacious. Although our balcony was quite small, I was still very satisfied. The hotel had a charming atmosphere that reminded me of Santorini, Greece. The room was very clean, cool, and always stocked with drinks in the fridge. The hotel also offered a variety of activities. I personally wanted to rest, so I didn’t participate, but it seemed like there were plenty of options. What I didn’t like: Even though it was all-inclusive, I heard that some of the more upscale restaurants were not included, and there was an extra charge to dine there. Since I only stayed for 2 nights and 3 days, I was happy with the deck restaurant, but if I had stayed longer, I probably would have wanted to try them. I also felt uncomfortable with the pushy sales tactics for massage services. At first, the hotel offered me a complimentary massage simply because I was from Canada. However, when they later found out that I was a student here, they canceled it immediately, saying it was only available for working professionals. I hadn’t wanted the massage in the first place, but I didn’t like that they offered it just to get my information and then withdrew it so abruptly. Another downside was the noise. At night, it was very loud, with karaoke-like singing from about 9:30 p.m. until almost 11 p.m. During the day, there was also the sound of drilling from construction that went on for hours. If you are looking for a quiet hotel, this is definitely not the right place. When I first booked through Trip.com, I had reserved a room with a king-size bed. But at check-in, the hotel told me there was no king room available and instead tried to sell me an upgrade to an ocean-view room with a larger balcony and king-size bed for USD $160. I declined, and in the end, I was given a room with two queen beds, a smaller balcony, and a half-ocean view. Honestly, I was still satisfied with that. The hotel is located roughly in the middle of the Hotel Zone—not too far north or south. I had booked a private van, and it took about 20–25 minutes from the airport. They said La Isla Mall was nearby, but when I passed by, I noticed many of the stores were closed. If you come expecting a vibrant shopping mall, you might be disappointed, so keep that in mind."
