First time in SA. I traveled alone. The Tokyo is at the heart of downtown Cape Town. This made most of the awesome places easily accessible- even on foot. I loved my time there, very clean and the staff were prompt to attend any issues I had. Unfortunately it was too cold out for me to enjoy the pool, but it was lovely at the rooftop. The gym was useful too - just that you won’t be setting any weight PRs. All in all I had a great time there.

The hotel is located downtown near Long street. A few shady people outside; although i felt safe. the rooms were spacious and clean. The atmosphere was great...staff very friendly and helpful. Near restaurants and shopping. The wife and I were there about 10 days. Jerry

The hotel is in a good location with many eateries nearby by. There are Public Security officers on nearly every corner so we felt safe whilst walking around. The apartment was spacious with a separate lounge area and bedroom area. The only negative is the bathroom. It is tiny and cramped. There is nowhere to put your toiletries (we had to keep these in the kitchen area) We had booked the apartment including breakfast. This was to be at the restaurant downstairs. It was a very strange menu, no basics like eggs and bacon, not even cereals or toast. We had to go searching the streets for a cafe.
