"The house is small but beautiful. My child was sick at the time, so we didn't get to explore much. The service was excellent; a quick call to the front desk and help was on the way. However, the room was a bit old-fashioned, and bizarrely, the hairdryer plug didn't fit any of the outlets. The front desk eventually brought an adapter. The bathroom was very large and in a separate room, but it had no air conditioning, which was a strange setup, especially considering how cold it gets in South Africa after sunset in spring. Overall, the experience was still good."

"Although the desk, facility staff were all exceptional, mgmt team failed to adhere to 5* luxury hotel customer service when the amenities one expects from this type hotel with a premium rate fails to meet normal operating expectations! For example, A/C first night inoperable combined with terrible noise that resulted in no sleep followed up by no water pressure during shower next morning. Despite this fact noted by the repairman the next day, hotel mgmt refused to offer any credible consideration aside from if we returned at a later date “something” may be done! After reading other reviews with similar issues, this appears to be common operating procedures!"

"Great location! Rooms facing Table Mountain offer fantastic views, and rooms on the other side overlook the harbor, but you'll need a high floor for either. The front desk staff, both day and night shifts, were incredibly helpful and patient. Breakfast was plentiful, with generous portions and delicious food. "The attic room was extremely noisy, with a lot of wind; those with poor sleep quality should avoid it. There were no toothbrushes, the toilet seat was broken, and the minibar wasn't free at all, making it very poor value for money. Its only advantage was its excellent location in a very safe area. Breakfast was basically just white food like toast, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The service was mediocre; the bellhops took our tip after unpacking our luggage and then let us carry it out ourselves – ridiculous! 😅 I was on my period and wanted to rest a bit longer, so we agreed to check out late and pay later, but they said I had to pay for half a day's stay and only until 3 pm – outrageous! They even called to urge me while I was packing."
