From the moment we checked in with a man called Prince we were treated like very special clients. The service everywhere was fabulous and all staff greeted us very pleasantly, our room was truly outstanding and a fantastic turndown service

This is probably the best situated hotel in the Wharf area. It is an island of understated elegance and serenity on a small hill overlooking the Wharf. It is very secure. We stayed for five nights and very much enjoyed our experience. The staff is well- trained, personable and friendly. Our room with a view of Table Mountain had a balcony. It was spacious, very comfortable and clean. The bed was excellent. The bathroom well laid out and large. The breakfasts were superb with a wide selection of fruits and egg dishes. Eggs Benedict and Avocado Toast were exceptional. Two improvements I suggest: the fitness room is small and the sauna ( for 2 people max) is by appointment when it really needn’t be. That said, we highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel in the waterfront area. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were exceptionally welcome and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Very safe area of Cape Town. Enjoyed our three night stay.

This is beautiful boutique hotel in the V&A waterfront. The staff are outstanding and so friendly from the minute that the car door is opened for you, big shout out to Lawrence at the bar so friendly and engaging in conversation and helpful advice, it was a pleasure to sit and talk. The rooms are spacious and well equipped we had a beautiful view of table mountain from our room. The public areas are very relaxing and the garden / pool area are a nice oasis of calm. The location is brilliant and it’s is easy walking access to all of the V&A waterfront. The water front is a great area for retail, bar & restaurant and safe to walk around day & night. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, fabulous room and awesome staff. Wonderful breakfast each morning too. The location is right at the V and A waterfront, it’s close you are safe to go out to the many restaurants right there and bars.

Superb hotel located very close to the V&A Waterfront (2 minute walk) where there are a number of restaurants and shops. The hotel was very quiet and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The room and bathroom was very large and extremely comfortable for our 5 night stay. We had dinner one night in the restaurant which was superb. Breakfast every morning included a continental selection and choice of a cooked breakfast. Bar staff were great and could mix a variety of cocktails. We can highly recommend this hotel .

The Queen Victoria Hotel in Cape Town is, quite simply, amazing. The location, right on the harbor, is just perfect. The lobby and elegant restaurant are beautiful, and our dinner at the restaurant our first night was delicious and inexpensive. Our spacious room leads out to a beautiful, large balcony with a great view of Table Mountain. The bathroom is huge too. But, best of all, and quite unusual, is the phenomenal staff. The ratio of staff to guests is impressive, and each one is so friendly. Way beyond what we have experienced before. One of the staff taught us the word “Ubuntu,” and that’s what we feel at this hotel. We highly, highly recommend staying here. 😊

Hotel is centrally located, but it's an odd layout. They were overbooked so we were "upgraded" to the Manor House, but it was on the ground floor of the parking lot (no privacy) and directly behind the wharf with music performers (no insulation/sound proofing on the windows). Asked to be moved to the room we paid for and were told they didn't have any availability, so we settled for a downgrade. Staff wasn't able to refund the difference, so we had to escalate to our travel agent to handle (we got the refund). The main building is only 3 floors, so it's likely you will have privacy issues with the traffic going in/out of the lobby or you'll be overlooking the parking lot if you don't have the room with a view of Table Mountain. We had construction workers under our window each morning smoking...awesome smell to wake up to. Lastly, they gave us a welcome gift to celebrate our anniversary, but they never brought it to our room. All issues aside, the room was comfortable and the restaurant/bar staff are lovely.

Lovely boutique hotel at a great location. Staff and breakfast were excellent. Only points of improvement are the water pressure and the temperature of the hot water in the shower, and a nespresso or similar coffee machine.
