The hotel is in a very good location. Table Mountain is right in front of you when you look out the window. The restaurant on the first floor has delicious food and live jazz music. It is very convenient to use Uber to go to various attractions.

Pros : Great for a short stay. Attentive staff all across from security to the front desk to the breakfast. Central location. Very clean and put together room. Live jazz bands at night (awesome!)
Cons : Extra for parking (which adds up quickly on a longer stay). Spotty wifi internet. Reception of mobile data is altered (using my own internet as Hotspot was also an issue). Electrical plugs are oddly placed in the room (none near the bed or near the dedicated workspace). Gym is basic.

I had my worst vacation experience in this hotel.first they charged me for drinks that I didn't use in their minibar. After raising the concern, they withdrew the bill but went ahead and billed me 3000 rand for water that had poured on their carpet in the room which was as a result of the overflow on bath tub not working.The area which was affected by water was so small to warrant such a ridiculous amount of money.Tried to reason with staff in vain.This hotel tries to extort money through all means which shouldn't be the case.I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.There are better hotels around the same area

Very noisy Hotel and room cleaning can be Improved.
We asked 3 times to get the room cleaned in the 7th floor.
Very disappointed that they charged us and other Guest minibar Drinks and Snacks which we did not had.
I can understand of its just 1 water or 1 Snack but it was more and we paid 200 Rand more.
No reaction from the Management.

Waited for a long time in the lobby to check in. When check in time arrived, staff ignored the people who had been waiting, some for hours, and served newcomers instead. Hotel was doing renovations and did not disclose this when booking. Incredibly loud and uncomfortable for something so pricey.

The room looked a bit dated but it was clean and comfortable. However, in the last 2 nights of my stay, the key card somehow did not register me as a guest which resulted in me having to go down to the reception to reactivate the card which was inconvenient, especially since I had already booked these 2 nights.
Please also note that the hotel takes a deposit of 200 rands per night and it should be paid in cash which was a bummer since Cape Town was the last stop in my trip and I didn't have that much cash anymore and I won't want to withdraw just for this. Unfortunately, it seems that cash is the only way to go since other payment methods will result in losses.
I ended up using my credit card to pay this deposit where they charged my card instead of placing a hold. When I checked out, they asked for all my card details including CVV to process the refund. Unfortunately, a month later, I still did not receive a refund on my card. It took another month before I got the refund via bank transfer. To my horror, I received 32% less because this was charged by the hotel's bank. The hotel stated that the hotel does not bear the transfer cost and claimed that my card did not work when they attempted to refund. However, the attempt to refund to my card was never mentioned in my e-mail correspondences.
In conclusion, the hotel room is generally pleasant to stay in but avoid using your card to pay the deposit to avoid the above problems.
