This hotel was absolutely beautiful but definitely a bit overpriced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious but we were a little disappointed with the housekeeping as there was bird poop on our balcony floor and even after telling them to clean it they didn’t. For the price we definitely expected more. The location is perfect for shopping and the aquarium.
Breakfast and room service food were all very good.

Spent my Birthday at the One and Only. The service and the staff are still excellent. They always so accommodating, and go out of their way to make my visits exceptional. It really is different level and if I could, it would always be the place I stay at. Special mention goes to Ashley "Sir Ash", who went out of his way to organise a very Special Stay. And not forgetting Musa "The Doctor" for his Awesome Wine Tasting Experience. It was, as always, unforgettable. Whenever I go to One and Only, it's like visiting Family. Highly Recommended

Simply one of the most stunning hotels in the world. If you wish to enjoy a table mountain view, stay at the main building - if you want to spend more time by the pool and enjoy the Spa - book a spacious Island room. The pool, Spa & breakfast are amazing, and the Concierge team is one of its kind. Thank You One & Only! And thank You Cape Town!

Spending time at their ISOLA pool area was so nice. Big thanks to all especially Melissa. She really cares about our happiness and well being. We were treated so nicely and attentively by all staff. They alone make this resort 5 star. Breakfast was nice. The place and location again nice. The pool staff were something else though.

The best hotel I ever stayed in my life. It was a bucket list hotel for me so my expectations were very high but I knew I was in for a treat when we checked in and the kids had a handwritten welcome card from the hotel general manager with four sweet jars waiting for them… All staff are super friendly with the kids and genuinely interested about them but the highlight to me, at evening turndown it’s not just the adults that get an extra treat but also the kids as the hotel staff put in their room teddies and bedtime stories labelled with their names! Pure magic!!! It’s luxurious but not pretentious, modern, family friendly, the facilities are amazing, the pool is gorgeous and heated, staff is super friendly, breakfast have endless options, the location is fantastic. Ah and the most amazing room with a view. What a view to Table Mountain! I'm a Travel Counsellor in the UK and I have been to many nice hotels in the World but this hotel is one step ahead to exceed customer expectations to a level that I never came across before. The attention to detail is extreme. Personal. It’s an attraction by itself and it was a dream come true for me. Hopefully we will return one day. Thank you and now I can't wait for my clients to experience this fabulous hotel.

We just returned from our stay and my wife and son is still talking about how much of a great time they had. From the initial welcome, to the farewell at the end of your stay, the hotel goes above and beyond. The hotel is set at a stunning location, with views of table Mountain from the bar. The staff were fantastic and attentive. We stayed in the island rooms (605), which was located right next to the pool. The service was great and the little gifts that we received nightly were a lovely touch. The location is conveniently located near the waterfront. Even though it was not cheap, I felt the price was worth the service and experience we received and would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a special place to holiday. I want to give a special shout out to Rumby for taking care of us and helping with my son's birthday gift. Also want to thank Michelle, Lorna and Tara from the kids club for making my son's stay so memorable.
