Carmichael House Boutique Hotel

Very friendly place with excellent service from both the owners and the staff. Nice, very clean and spatious rooms! Very nice breakfast made on your own request. The location in the outskirts of Cape Town is not the best, though and a car is needed.

I enjoyed every day in this place. I felt like at home. Cozy and very clean suites, tasty breakfast with croissants. Location is very close to the key points in the city The owners of the hotel are very friendly, they gave us recommendations on entertainments to make our time in Cape Town save and remarkable. Because of their advise we visited places we’ve never heard about I’m very happy that we chose this place

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The greenery provided a natural atmosphere with clean air. The hosts were really warm and the staff were excellent in service. I had an airport chauffeur (Yusuf) and it made my commute easier. Breakfast was yummy and the hosts also curated a list of restaurants with details about each recommendation. I loved that and it gave me options to explore for dinner.

I could not have picked a better place to stay while visiting my daughter in Cape Town. Beautiful and comfortable rooms with a full breakfast included! The amenities were excellent and everyone at the hotel was incredibly friendly and hospitable. Its location is, in my opinion, centrally located to EVERYTHING! Walking distance to the University of Cape Town (UCT) and so many local shops. It took 15 minutes to get to the center of the city and the Waterfront by car. Overall the perfect place to stay, both comfort and convenience.

We had a wonderful stay. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The accommodation was clean, cozy and lively decorated. My daughter who lives in cape town came to visit and joined us for breakfast before work. I would highly reccommend this accommodation!

We had an outstanding time at the Carmichael Boutique Hotel. The Victorian-style house is in very good condition and was carefully and lovingly renovated in 2020. Our hosts Yves and Valerie and their team took excellent care of us and were always the perfect people to talk to with valuable tips for excursions. They create a very cosy atmosphere. The breakfast is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired.
