Very good value for money: Great location, super friendly staff and a big room with plenty of space for both parents and teenage son. Super charming breakfast setting overlooking the roofs of Catania. Reception staffed around the clock. Very positive experience. On the down side: Be mindful to book a room not facing the main street as this is quite noisy and have a bit patience with the shower ;)

I've been travelling around Europe & this would be the biggest room I've stayed. The staff were very pleasant & accommodating. They helped me carry my luggage up & down the stairs. The rooms are very clean. I recommend people to stay here. Unfortunately I had to skip breakfast as I had an early flight back to Australia. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

We are a "young senior" couple who traveled with adult son. We got a HUGE triple room with comfortable beds and ample seating. Nice modern bathroom in this otherwise faded elegant mansion. Breakfast was on the rooftop with a stunning view and was included. The hotel is on the top floor and you get buzzed in from the street. Up two flights long to reception. It seemed like more! But the receptionist saw us on camera and came running down to take our bags. I consider that great service! In the morning the sky around us was full of swallows. Magical. Catania can be a little rough around the edges and this neighborhood was residential though right off a main street. I didn't feel unsafe, but maybe not for a single person who likes to stroll alone at night. Highly recommend this bargain-price hotel with kind staff and great location for walking to the main piazza, cathedral, opera house, etc.

Older rooms and very good condition, the air conditioning works. A wonderful breakfast on the roof. The staff is all very good. They are very helpful. Everything is near bye kids love the hotel we had a great time Thank you for everything!! ♥️

68 STEPS! As seniors, we would likely not have booked this hotel had we known that the hotel was behind TWO locked doors (streetside, and a lot of steps up to the entry door), and that if someone was not at the front desk to buzz you in at the street door, you were stuck outside. We attributed this to staffing levels being low. The room we were in took two minutes for the hot water to reach the shower. Our opinion was that the conversion of the building to a hotel required some unique designs for the plumbing. Our shower, sink and toilet all drained into a sump pump that was effective, but was not quiet! As to the stairs, you had to feel your way up the first forty or so, as they were not lit. Daylight filtered in, but after 6:00, it was DARK! If you can deal with the above, this would be a good place to stay in the Old Town area of Catania. The staff were all extremely friendly and accomodating. Many tours start a short walk away.

I spent 5 days in hotel Biscari with family. It was very good choice. It is conveniently situated close to very city center and transport hubs. The staff is helpful and friendly. We chat on every occasion learning Italian expressions. He got help with our luggage.

A great experience.The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was huge and clean and beds comfortable. The hotel is nearby the most important historical atractions.The breakfast was basic but it had everything we need to begin our day. We thank hotel Biscari for their services and patience.

Hotel Biscari offers clean and spacious rooms, making our stay truly enjoyable. My husband, son, and I were looking for simple yet comfortable lodging, and this hotel was perfect. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, with fresh orange juice and delicious cappuccinos every morning. Oscar and the entire staff were exceptionally kind, always greeting us with warm smiles. If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, I highly recommend Hotel Biscari!

Great location, historic building. Helpful staff, lovely breakfast. Recommend for family trips. Close to main central Catania sites, useful businesses - excellent laundry round the corner, trattorie. Flexible baggage storage and warm interiors during the wet cold winter period.
