If you are new to Catania expect a 'gritty' but lively experience. Best part about this B&B is its location, 50 metres from the Fish market, (and antiques market on a Sunday) and 100 metres from the 'Street Food' Area. Its just 300 metres from the bus station and maybe 20 minutes walk from the train station (follow the railway line which is out side the B&B!) Room was a nice size and very clean, but it felt dark and strangely damp (Could be an advantage in summer). They were not offering breakfast in March. Wifi was good. Dont even dream about bringing a car into Catania and especially not this area. When you exit Catania Airport look for the Alibus which will take you into the City Centre for 4€ which can be bought on the bus. Knowing where to get off is a bit more tricky but as its not a big city you should be able to get off pretty much anywhere and walk to the hotel (We got off when it stopped under a railway arch and then Googlemapped to the B&B) If i had a few more € i would try somewhere else but if i was on a budget i would go back.
