Hotel Week-End

Quadruple room old and above all very dirty. The floor was really dirty. The windows did not close. Uncomfortable beds. Furthermore it is not guarded and does not tidy the room. Breakfast is served at the palace hotel

I can't help but follow the previous latest reviews. Uncommendable... And we're not talking about a hotel, it's just a former hotel whose rooms are a detachment serving the nearby Palace hotel where meals are served

Booked 2 days before departure, last minute all inclusive "offer". Once we arrive we are welcomed at the Palace hotel, they give us all the information and take us to the Week End Hotel (we knew we would sleep at the weekend and eat at the Palace hotel) across the road, crossing a pleasant little public garden. We immediately realize that the WE hotel is not yet at full capacity and operational, it is just a dormitory, in the course of the living room the breakfast room will come to life, the outdoor area will be landscaped with flowers, umbrellas and armchairs. Arriving at the Hotel Palace restaurant we are welcomed by Mrs. Clara, the owner, very attentive and thoughtful, of Colombian origins (like most of the staff) - hence the name of the limousine parked outside the hotel available to customers with written on it is "the lady of the Caribbean" - who welcomes us with great warmth, calling all guests "mio Amor" and explains how the restaurant works, all buffet style with a vegetable area, 2/3 types of first courses in chafing dishes served by the staff and ditto for the second courses, always one fish and one meat, and then fruit for lunch and dessert for dinner. Even for drinks there is a corner with always ready bottles of white and black wine, fresh still and sparkling water, and on request coca cola, orange soda, etc... which you can take and bring to the table. the food is discreet, you can take it as many times as you want, and for the children it is always possible to ask for hamburgers, schnitzel, pasta with pesto, white, red etc... The room had problems, it was immediately replaced with another always in the name of simplicity but more comfortable, all equipped with air conditioning. Hotel and management in the name of simplicity, but with great availability from everyone. I recommend adding a mini fridge in the room. Fair value for money.
