Our home is set at the end of the road and our backyard is New Hampshire National Forest that offers pure tranquillity. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy your rustic yet sophisticated abode. Feel free to reach out with any questions!IMPORTANT: Please note that the house is set off the beaten path and up some pretty wild roads. Your car will be required to have four-wheel-drive in the winter or you will most definitely get stuck coming down our road. Please plan accordingly and only bring four-wheel-drive vehicles in the winter months. Parking is located at the top of the driveway, you should NOT pull down it during any season. Thank you!We do plow the upper part of the driveway in order for you to park your car. Our plow service will also shovel a narrow path whenever he arrives; however, we do not have a guaranteed shoveling service that goes from the car to the front door upon arrival/departure. This means you may need to shovel your way to the front door so we recommend packing a shovel!Amenities:-This property features a starter set of supplies for guests which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, & hand soap. Escape the crowds head to this Unique Mountian Hideaway where the air is pure, and has the scent of Balsam Christmas Trees. Can drive right to the door until snow builds up. Then its a 300 yard hike to cabin, pack sleds provided. Due to extensive use the trail is packed down. At 77 yrs I have no trouble making the trek in, also caretaker /cleaning lady and repeat guests have no issue. Although if not in good physical shape I would not recommend it. Upon arrival cabin well lit, woodstove burning and cabin cozy. This modern and attractive log cabin sits high on Black Mountain (Ck out photo of location), Jackson NH. It’s surrounded by the privacy of the White Mountain National Forest. It has the feel of being in the wilderness, but minutes to civilization. On a clear night step outside and shut off the lights, you can almost touch the stars, and hear a pin drop. The privacy and spectacular views truly add to this great log cabin.The interior is handsomely furnished, 2 bedrooms, and loft sleeps 6. A granite countered kitchen which is fully equipped - garlic press to wine glasses. Wood stove fireplace is in main open concept common room area adjacent to dining, and living room areas. The lower walkout level contains a finished recreation room with flat screen/DVD, there is a large film selection.The cell signal is strong , and internet can be accessed on laptop through hot spot on cell. This Magnificent Hideaway is on The White Mtn National Forest Trail System - Bald Land Trail, East Pasture Loop, and Black Mtn Cabin groomed x country trails are right out the door. Jackson Ski Touring maintains 62 miles of groomed trails in the town. At bottom of road is completely renovated Black Mtn Downhill Slopes. And within 20 minutes are Cranmore , Attitash, and Wildcat downhill slopes. A 5 minute ride to Jackson Village, offers some top notch restaurants and taverns all family friendly. People have chosen Jackson for their vacation destination since the 1800’s,and for many good reasons. The town of North Conway is a 20 min ride- tax free shopping and plenty of taverns & restaurants. If you enjoy the outdoors, this home is close to local ski resorts and various hiking trails. In the summertime, enjoy the cool refreshing waters of Jackson Falls, which is a 3 minute drive away. Storyland is a quick 10 minute drive. This home boasts cathedral ceilings and a beautiful wood-burning fireplace you can cozy up to during the winter months.
