This bedroom has a door opening onto the large deck. It also has a desk and chair., Across the great room is another large bedroom with a wonderful king size bed and door onto the deck, as well. This bedroom shares a bath with the great room and it is partially handicap equipped. The third bedroom has a log queen size bed with a twin bunk above it. This bedroom has a small, private bath with a tub/shower combo. Perfect for the kids! All the bedrooms have flat screen TVs.Downstairs to the game room.....This room is all about making fun memories together. There is a full size pool table, an air hockey table, and a foosball table. Grandma and Grandpa can sit on the comfy sectional sofa and watch all the games at one time! When game time is over, everyone can sit together and watch the 50 inch flat screen TV or play one of the board games.Off the game room, you will find the second master suite. This one has a huge cedar log-king size bed. All our beds have top quality Simmons Beautyrest mattresses.A second on-suite bath also has a jacuzzi tub and a separate shower.The most unique feature of this home is the private, 5th bedroom suite. This suite has its own entrance just a few steps away from the downstairs game room and provides much welcomed privacy for grandparents or other family members needing a bit of separation at times. Wilderness Retreat Lodge is a beautiful true log home nestled in the beautiful Ozark mountains and can provide a wonderful “Home away from Home” for your family! You will never want to stay in a motel again. A ramp will take you to the large front porch where 2 rocking chairs are waiting for you to rock your cares away. For the early risers, this is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee as the sun greets a new day.As you enter the front door, prepare to be awed by the breathtaking great room! The soaring cathedral ceiling, the wood burning fireplace, the well equipped kitchen including a large dining table, and the comfy living room area all cry out “Welcome home!” . A flat screen HDTV along with a DVD/VHS player are ready for you in the living room. Lots of movies are provided for your enjoyment. Wireless internet and cable TV are provided for you. A bookcase holds a large assortment of books and there are plenty of quiet places to get away by yourself and enjoy them. Two full size sofas (one is a sofa bed) and a large recliner are located in front of the wood burning fireplace and the TV. I know you can’t wait to explore and it is hard to know where to start. Two master suites are located on each side of the great room. Both have wonderful, enormous, log, king sized beds with pillowtop Simmons Beautyrest mattresses . All bedrooms have flat screen HDTVs and DVD/VHS players. Both these bedrooms have huge en-suite baths with double sinks, jetted tubs, and a large separate shower. A desk and chair are provided in the Moose room. Each bedroom has a doorway to the huge deck. There is also a doorway to the deck from the great room. On the deck you will find a gas grill, patio table and several chairs. (Remember, I promised quiet places to enjoy a book.) The deck has a restful view of the quiet Ozark woods. Don’t be surprised to see wildlife. We have seen turkeys, deer, and a variety of small critters.Back inside it is time to go downstairs to continue the exploration. Step into the game room and say “Wow!“ The quote on the wall says “You don’t stop playing because you grow old; you grow old because you stop playing.” This room promotes youth--at all ages!! Fun is what it is all about! Charles dreamed of owning a pool table all his life and here it is! And what a beauty it is! Next you will notice the air hockey table. We never knew how much fun air hockey could be! On the wall is another flat screen TV and DVD/VHS player. Check out the games- some board games and some DVD games. Lots of fun! A sleeper sofa and a comfy recliner are in the game room for the spectators. Some of our favorite movie posters add to the décor of this room. Maybe your favorite will be there. But wait--not done yet… Off the game room are two more bedrooms. One is Americana themed (check out pictures of our service oriented family) and has a king sized bed. The other room is just plain fun--it is cowboy themed and has a Queen sized bed AND a set of bunk beds! Both bedrooms have HDTVs, DVD/VHS players and access to the lower patio.A door leads off the game room to the lower patio also. Here you will find another patio table and a charcoal grill. You will also find one of our favorite spots--a porch swing! Don't forget to enjoy the firepit for those chilly evenings or for making smores. Also, in the backyard-- you will find a luxurious- private 6 person hot tub! Super great for sore muscles after a long day at Silver Dollar City!Off the game room, you will also find a full bath with a tub/shower and across the room is another full bath with a large shower. An ample sized utility room with a super capacity washer and dryer is found on this level as well. Iron and ironing board available. The towering vaulted ceilings and the stone fireplace adorn this great log room!. We have two comfortable couches- one that makes out into a queen bed. A separate recliner and my mama's antique rocking chair complete the group and all are waiting for your family to take time to sit down, rest, relax, and get acquainted all over again.The first thing to do is pick bedrooms. Mom and dad claim the master bedroom with the large king size bed and roomy en-suite bath. Mom is already dreaming of the relaxing bubble bath in that amazing jetted tub! Double sinks and a separate shower complete this bathroom. A door opens right out onto the patio from the bedroom.Dad has quickly spotted all the TVs in the cabin. He checked out the living room wall-mounted Smart TV. And he knows--no Disney Channel for him! Each bedroom also has flat screen TVs. Every family needs a break from togetherness at times. There are also DVD/VCR combos in every room and we have a selection of DVD/VHS tapes in the credenza. We also provide wireless internet.OK… Back to the bedroom choosing.Most teenagers love horses and the next bedroom is a room dedicated to the old west. A super comfortable queen size bed provides great rest after a big day of fun in Branson. Enjoy the rustic, western theme. A door leads right off the bedroom to the patio.That leaves the cutest room for the rest of the family. The black bear family loves to have company and they are waiting to welcome you to the Bear Room! The twin over queen bunk beds are “just right!” as Goldilocks would say.Between the Bear Room and the Western Room is a full bath with a tub/shower combo. (Another family of black bears lives there too. Don’t worry—I think they are all related.)Now that the bedrooms are claimed, it is time to check out the eating arrangements. The dream kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils—virtually everything you need to cook up yummy meals. The Maytag appliances are so much fun to use! Cooking at the cabin is so much better than cooking at home. There is a coffeemaker AND a Keurig, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, mixer, griddle, waffle maker, roaster, and crockpot.Then imagine all sitting down together at the massive dining table. It has chairs for eight. Or if the weather is nice, you can eat outside on the patio, where there are 2 tables and 8 chairs. The views into the woods are especially relaxing. You might even see whitetail deer or turkey come by for a visit. A propane grill is located outside on the patio and a park style charcoal grill is also provided.Also on the patio is the awesome, private, 6 person spa! There is nothing better than relaxing in the soothing water after a day of walking the hills in Silver Dollar City!! Hiking the trails around the area can also make the hot tub a necessary ending for a great day!      There is also a firepit and seating area off the back deck.   This cabin has a great, homey feeling and you will love it at first sight! We surely did! While there are tons of great places to eat around the area, it is nice to sometimes have a home cooked meal away from the crowds. The kitchen is fully equipped with Whirlpool appliances- refrigerator with ice and filtered water in the door; dishwasher, electric range, and microwave. Also provided are a coffeepot AND a KEURIG, toaster, hand mixer, blender, crockpot, griddle, a large roaster, waffle maker, stoneware dishes for 12, pots and pans, and silverware. The beautiful cedar table and chairs were made by local craftsman and will seat 6-7. (4 chairs and a bench)Wireless internet is provided for you.Don’t worry about packing a lot of clothes or taking home your dirty clothes. Use the Whirlpool front loading washer and dryer to keep up with your laundry.For the young and young at heart, climb the ladder/stairs up to our Deer Camp Loft. You will find a daybed, a flat screen TV, DVD player, movies, a chess table, and an air hockey table. Have a great time playing, then relax on the queen size daybed, and have a special “camp out” in the Deer Camp Loft! After enjoying the shopping, shows, and fun of Branson and the Tri Lakes area, you’ll be sure to get a wonderful night’s rest in the massive log, king sized bed, with a luxurious Simmons Beautyrest mattress. (Steps are provided for your climb into the bed!) You can climb in the bed right after your relaxing soak in the jetted tub.
