Hotels in Taihu National Tourism Resort/Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise, Huzhou

The experience was very good. The hotel is very comfortable and has a good views. Andy is very kind and attentive, she received me with a beautifull smile and gave me a very complete explanation about the hotel, services, and some spots to visit. During the stay, she was allways attentive to my comfort. When I leave, I forgot my laptop at the room. Fortunately Andy take care of it and she sent it to my home very fast, it arrived in a few hours. Thank you very much!!.

It was really good trip and amazing experience in this nice design hotel. The room was quite noce with the special zoo design which made kids really happy, they where happy with the bed type , with the tub in our bathroom. It was so close to all important and very fun places, next to the Safari park, ice palace (you can take snowboard and ski ⛷️ ) Ancient town etc… And the costumer service is really nice , they are so helpful, we where having problem with our minibar it was not working, so they brought us everything we need(and even more) in several minutes. The breakfast was really yummy and western food, but tbh you can find everything you need there not just western or Chinese, they made for us amazing Americano ☕️

The hotel is nicely positioned at the seaside of TaiHu in Huzhou. We went there to enjoy the hot spring pools during the recent cold wave in Shanghai. In winter time you won’t find many restaurants nearby the hotel but the hotel restaurant is nice as well. The breakfast is okay but focusses on Chinese guests. Unfortunately some of the hot spring pools were closed during our stay but the remaining pools were nice and during the whole time the hotel wasn’t crowded, so we found enough pools for ourselves. It’s a good place for nice 1-2 nights stay.

The experience of staying at Taihu Dragon Dream Ancient Town Hotel is very good! The housekeeper Xiao Yuan is very responsible and patiently answers questions from booking to check-in. There are cute penguin dolls in the room, and real penguins can be seen in the lobby. The children love it. The room has a great view, and you can directly see the panoramic view of the ancient town. You can watch the fireworks on the balcony at night, which is very convenient. The breakfast is very good, with a variety of varieties and clean. The overall cost-effectiveness is high, recommended!

Before coming here, are you able to accept reading reviews on Xiaohongshu and negative reviews on Ctrip? As a result, the negative reviews were full of traps and it was impossible to tell whether they were genuine. To be honest, I was very nervous before arriving at the hotel. But the fact is that many times we are like the pony crossing the river, and we need to experience the good and the bad ourselves. First of all, let’s talk about the good things: 1. Excellent location! Happy World Hotel has two buildings. From the direction of the African migration landscape in the middle of the lobby entrance, the Dolphin Building is on the left and the Penguin Building is on the right. The Ice and Snow World is on the left side of the Dolphin Building, a 5-minute walk away; the International Circus and Animal World are on the right side of the Penguin Building, a 7-8-minute walk away (passing the food street in between). Across the road from the Happy World Hotel is Water World. Standing on the balcony of the hotel, you can see the Taihu Ancient Town about three kilometers away, and you can watch the high-altitude fireworks in the room at night. This distance is especially friendly for traveling with children. When you are tired of playing, you can go back to the hotel to sleep and rest. 2. The service butler (**, WeChat name Huahua) is very good, enthusiastic, professional and attentive. We immediately upgraded to a deluxe family suite. Second, no matter how late it is, reply to messages immediately and solve the problem. To be honest, it calmed my anger to some extent due to other bad conditions in the hotel. 3. The fireworks view is great. The family deluxe suite faces the Taihu Ancient Town, and it is wonderful to watch the fireworks on the balcony. Let's talk about the standard ones: 1. The decoration style of the room is indeed a bit old, but you can see that the wood material of the furniture is good. It is not the kind of cheap housing veneer material used in pure business hotels. It should have been good ten years ago. But the sofa, although simple, is full of home style. 2. The room size is the most complained point online, but because I was upgraded to a two-bedroom, one-living room family deluxe suite, I didn’t have any discomfort with the space. On the contrary, my elders said that the layout of this suite is very comfortable. 3. There is a bathtub in the bathroom of the suite, but I am not sure about other rooms. 4. Regarding breakfast, I didn’t eat it, so I can’t comment on it. My husband took the child there and said that the child didn’t eat much, so it was probably not very tasty. 5. In the Dolphin Building, the suites are below the 10th floor. If you want to live on a high floor, you can choose a king-size bed or twin beds. Finally, some complaints! 1. About noise. Why didn’t I go to have breakfast? Because the noise from the air conditioner outdoor unit was too loud and I couldn’t sleep the whole night. For the sound sensitive, lightning protection family suite. I didn't stay in other room types, so I won't comment on them. 2. About hot water. At one point I suspected that there was no hot water in the room. It took a long time before hot water came, not until all four faucets were turned on. It’s okay if you have time at night, but if you’re in a hurry in the morning, you can only use cold water. 3. About supporting facilities. The suite has two bedrooms and a living room. Normally, this room type would be chosen by those who come to visit with their parents or family. However, the suite is by default equipped with supplies for two people and two children. What's even worse is that we booked a package that included a hotel and attractions, but the tickets and breakfast that came with the room were only for 2 people! ! ! This is a bit unreasonable. I paid for a suite and got a king-size bed or standard room. If I book two double beds separately, wouldn't that mean I can also get 4 breakfasts and 4 tickets? Yeah, that's more cost-effective.

Very satisfactory hotel, connected to the mall, directly connected to the mall, very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The room is spacious, warm and clean, the facilities and equipment are very new, and the family suite is very cost-effective. Check-in was quick, Xiao Cai received warmly, the service was polite, and the requests were responded to in a timely manner. Thank you very much!

👀I was a little worried about the online reviews, but the room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was rich in variety, the service staff was enthusiastic, and I was upgraded to a lake view room for free. The housekeeper was sweet and considerate, and responded to every request. The surrounding attractions were introduced in detail, and the Halloween program was also informed in advance. I only stayed for one night and extended it for another night. It was a happy trip! The only small flaw was that I bought a shuttle bus ticket, and it was raining and windy when I went out, so I decided to drive to the zoo. As a result, I didn’t get a refund for the shuttle bus ticket. Although it didn’t cost much, I hope there will be some improvement and more humane!

The hotel is very good. We upgraded to a room with a view directly. From the room we can see the iron flowers and fireworks in the ancient town. Nothing wrong with the hotel! Let's talk about the ancient town. The food in the ancient town is really a rip-off. There are no street shops in the whole Dragon Dream, so the only option close to it is Taihu Ancient Town. The fireworks are very beautiful, but the prices in the ancient town are too expensive (I am very dissatisfied. The meal in the picture is a set meal in the ancient town for 498). The fireworks were taken in the room, very beautiful and spectacular

Facilities: Complete facilities. If you have other needs, you can call the front desk and they will deliver them to your room. Hygiene: The room is clean and comfortable. Environment: A view room is specially arranged for you to enjoy the night view of the ancient town and the fireworks show. Service: When cleaning the room, they were very considerate and replenished the consumables for us.

I specifically used my points to check in 4 hours early, but when I arrived at the hotel around 2:30, one room was still not ready. After Ctrip intervened, it was resolved, but the hotel never said it was sorry. The hotel is an apartment-style hotel with no people or shops around. It is in a retirement community. After checking in, the TV in one room could not be turned on. The quilt in the room is not very clean, there are hairs, and the overall feeling does not look like it is newly opened. There isn't much for breakfast, unless you are one of the first ones to eat, it will feel like you have been swept away, and you will lose your appetite instantly. Except for the large balcony and slightly better scenery (actually the outside is a villa area, which is still under construction, and there will be the sound of construction work), there is nothing special about it. Probably won't come again after that.
