1. **Location:** The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Baihuatan Park and just a few steps away. Sichuan Museum, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Wuhou Temple, and Qingyang Palace are all within a reasonable distance, making them easily accessible by taxi or public transport. Highly recommended.
2. **Surrounding Environment & Atmosphere:** The hotel is easy to find, situated near the entrance of Baihua Alley. There's an SF Express nearby, which is convenient if you need to send or receive parcels. The area also features numerous local eateries, including a very famous medicinal pork hock stew shop. Even locals recommended it when we took a taxi, and we can confirm the pork hock was incredibly tender and delicious! As it's located in an alley, the surroundings are quite quiet and pleasant. Recommended.
3. **Room Interior & Hygiene:** The room itself was decent; it's a bit small but very clean and hygienic. The hotel provides disposable slippers and a dental kit. A nice touch was the amenity kit, which included cotton swabs and a nail file. Although the toilet and shower are partitioned, the space is still quite compact. Even with the shower door closed, some water tends to spill out onto the toilet area if the water pressure is high, but it's not a major issue and didn't really bother us. Overall, I found the room's cleanliness excellent; we didn't experience any allergies or skin issues after sleeping on their beds. Bottled water and instant coffee sticks (which can be prepared with hot water) are provided, along with a fire emergency kit. The entire hotel occupies just one floor on the 2nd level. I personally recommend the rooms on the left upon entering, as the window faces another hotel, similar to an inner courtyard of a residential building. While there's no particular view, it's very quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep! A tip: you might want to set the air conditioning a bit lower. Chengdu in summer is hot and humid, so the room might initially feel quite damp, but it gets much better after turning on the AC.
4. **Hotel Service:** The hotel's front desk staff had a wonderful attitude. Even before check-in, they kindly helped us take our luggage to the room and carried our suitcases up the steps, which we greatly appreciated! The bottled water in the room was replenished promptly, and room cleaning was efficient. Overall, this was a highly satisfying travel experience. We didn't get to experience other facilities since we only stayed for two days, so I can't comment on them. And since we tend to sleep in when traveling, we didn't need breakfast. Furthermore, after booking, the front desk called us on the day of our arrival to confirm our check-in time and reminded us that there might be multiple branches, advising us not to go to the wrong one. Big kudos to the lady at the front desk for her thoughtfulness!
