As we expected, the hotel and the room are true to picture. Based on past experience, hotels/ accoms at the mountain are always very outdated. Including this hotel.
Location is ok as it’s at the main tourist area. But for the price you pay vs the hotel condition, given a choice I would not want to stay here. It is not very worth it. My queen bed is made up of 2 single beds and it is very very hard. Not comfortable if you are a side sleeper.
The hot water is only available from 4pm to 8am. If you decide to wake up only after 8am, there will be no hot water for you. I find this a bit ridiculous. Not sure if this is the same w the other hotels here.
Sadly, most of hotels here seems rather outdated except for 1 hotel that looks new and legit. It was fully booked by the time I tried to book.
These hotels should really consider doing renovation.

Better than expected tbh. Pricey for what it is, but so are all the other accommodations in the alishan area so this is actually on the relatively cheaper end. They also do wakeup calls for those waking up early in the morning to watch the sunrise which is a nice touch. Only complaint is the bathroom. Bathtub leaked and the sewers kept making gurgling noises throughout the night? Otherwise everything else is decent.

Quite a good hotel, located on the territory of the park. There are cafes, shops and local railway station nearby. The room was clean and spacious.

Quiet ,clean, and cozy. Though staff can't understand English. Great view with cherry blossom outside. There is no elavator here. If have a luggage, you must carry it on the 3rd floor.

Walking distance from train station short cut roundly 5min
By the way almost of Alishan Hotel at there one street.
Hotel included simple buffet breakfast.

There was a bed and running water basically. To elevator, no recption (it’s in the next hotel), the interior was not nice.

Close to the tourist centre, very easy to get information. Also, close to the train station, buy ticket easy. we will book this hotel next time!

It was the worst hotel I have ever encountered. It was filthy, room was not made up. Bathroom was dirty with mold. Everything about the hotel was unsanitary. Surprise that it is in business.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. When we arrived, the shower was wet with visible footsteps. There was hair next to the blowdry and dead insects. Some might like it but the bed was rockhard and the room was cold - make sure to bring warm clothes. Will not book again here. The hotel doesnt seem to learn from the reviews as well…
