Location is a 4, but our experience fell short before even checking in. We requested an early check in the night before, they told us to check back the next day. We did, and they told us at 12:28pm “the cleaning crew is still cleaning, but should be done in 30 mins, we will text you”. Great! 3 hours later we hear nothing I check back at 3:30pm and they tell us our early check in has been denied. Meanwhile, I’m doing Zoom meetings from the Starbucks down the street, and not in the apartment I paid for. At 4pm we finally get the ok to go in, there are NO elevators, and we have to take two large suitcases and a set of golf clubs up 45 stairs (4 flights). I had just had knee surgery a few weeks ago, so this was not ideal. We get into the apartment, it smells of fried food and is still dirty. The shower in unit 301 is full of black mold, the floors are full of crumbs and I don’t think the place has been dusted in months. This is also, NOT a 1 bedroom, it is a studio, convertible. There is no window in the bedroom and there is an open ledge at the ceiling Where dust was so thick, it was hanging off! I could go on and on about the lack of towels, the broken dishwasher and the dirty sheets, but you get the picture! And speaking of pictures, I have lots to share as proof of the conditions! Nevertheless, NO ONE should stay in this unit again until the black mold in the shower is taken care of, that’s a health hazard!
