Family-friendly Hotels in Chongqing

This is a wonderful hotel with exceptional cleanliness, attentive service, and very welcoming hospitality from all the staff, especially Ms. Lemon at the front desk and the housekeeping lady on the 29th floor. Their friendliness made our stay very memorable. The location is centrally located and convenient to all the key tourist spots. We recommend ordering breakfast a day in advance to get a cheaper deal, instead of purchasing it online during hotel booking. The breakfast selection is amazing! If a heavy buffet breakfast isn’t your thing, there is a local morning grocery market nearby where you can find delicious meat buns and congee. Enter from the lane on the right side of the hotel.

This hotel is situated in a Good location and staff are attentive and helpful.  Except the safe box is not working and they can’t do much about it as it is under d landlord’s responsibility.  Highly recommended. By d way, it is under the same building with d same entrance as Mecure hotel.

The stay included both breakfast and supper, adding great value. The location was incredibly convenient—on New Year’s Eve, we enjoyed the drone show right at the hotel doorstep without having to deal with the crowds. The staff were exceptional, always helpful and ready to answer any queries we had. Overall, it was a memorable and wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Was staying at the hotel in May this year but this time round the original 2 rooms that was assigned I am very disappointed that the Aircon was not working well. First time, they said that due to winter and it's all central system controlled so it's like this. They tried to solve the issue by bringing a cooler.. tried and it's totally no use at all. I compared the 2 rooms and my parents room was much warmer than mine so I had no choice but to go down and inform them about it. They did an excellent recovery by changing another room for my parents and they offered a suite for them. The room this time round is very cooling.. much cooler than mine but it's ok mine is still alright. I hope they will look into proper maintenance of the hotel.

The overall experience was good and I extreme impressed by the staff called Xiao Ru. She has been welcoming us with warmth and care from the first day we arrived Travelling with kids was always challenging but Xiao Ru has provided excellent service and patience for our queries. She has been kind enough to follow up if we need any further assistance on a daily basis. We had an early travel plan and she ensured her colleagues in another shift sending fruit to us every day after her shift. Additionally, she assisted the laundry pick up from our room and ready before our return to the room. Since we were on a night flight, a complimentary late check out was really helpful to ease out hassle. The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of options and the location was superb too. We'll definitely consider Mercure for our next visit!

Chongin is a fabulous city to visit. Tourist Sites are all access via by metro lines. I review with three Cs Convenient location - The hotel has excellent rooms and location. Hyatt Hotel is in downtown itself—within 150 meters of People Square. The Metro is 200 meters Cleannessness- Top quality. The toilet bathroom is excellent. The room is big, and the bed is very comfortable. Courtesy- Staff all are very professional from the Front Desk, Bellboy, and Restaurant. Great Food at the Chinese restaurants of the hotel. General - Taxi drivers were courteous and honest. Merchant price tags are consistent across the same product. Food is spicy and a bit salty Chongin City is worth repeat visits.

The location is super convenient, right in the city center + just few minutes walk to the metro station. A lot of places to visit nearby. The room is nice and clean. Would definitely recommend~

I booked this hotel for my husband’s birthday, expecting a wonderful experience given the nearly 1,000 RMB per night price tag. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet those expectations. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by an unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet, likely due to drainage issues. Since I wasn't feeling well and was quite tired, I thought I could mask the smell with some perfume, as we were only staying for two nights. While attempting to adjust the water temperature before my bath, I discovered something sticky under my foot when I was stepping on the towel. To my surprise, the tiles were loosen and adhered to my sole. I promptly reported this issue to the hotel via WeChat, and while I appreciated their prompt response offering to change our room, we opted to stay put since it was late and we only had one more night. However, the situation worsened the following morning when we found a cockroach in our room! This was an experience I certainly did not expect, especially in a hotel at this price point. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with our stay. The only redeeming quality of the hotel was its prime location. Unfortunately, the issues we encountered overshadowed any positives, and I feel the experience was not worth the price at all.

Spacious room generally clean with all amenities provided. Location of the hotel was superb as it’s at the center of where all the famous must see places are (generally all walkable with 20mins) However the room was advertised as river view which was you could see it but there are definitely buildings blocking the view. Secondly housekeeping wasn’t the cleanest, I found they sometimes just refold used towels instead of replacing them.

Hotel is very centrally located. The Location cannot be any better. Less than 2 minutes walk to a Metro station and the Liberation Monument and Times Square and 5 minutes walk to the Art Gallery. Food streets, food courts and food outlets are many and all within 5 minutes walk. Hongyadong is about 10 minutes walk. But I like the food court at Park108. Clean, Aircon and reasonable prices. I stayed in a Royal Suite room. YThe room is clean but tired and furniture are the basic old fashioned type. The room is divided into a separate sitting area, a bedroom, and a small study room. The bathroom is very small for a room of this size. It contains a jacuzzi bath tub but the jacuzzi is not working, so we used it as a shower tray. The wash basin is small and basic. The room comes with two complimentary bottled water everyday and some tea bags. Hotel do not provide toothbrush everyday. The breakfast is basic. Noodle soup station, bread, fried rice, fried noodles, porridge etc. Fried and hard boiled eggs available but no egg station.. Coffee and soya bean milk are from a dispenser. Taxi cannot access the hotel at door step. Taxi will stop about 2 minutes walk away and you will have to pull your luggage along. Taxi are plenty however. The reception guys are extremely polite and helpful.
