We stayed at Xiyada River View Hotel (Chongqing Guanyinqiao Beibin Road Branch) and were quite satisfied with our experience overall. The hotel has a very convenient location — the metro station is just a short walk away, which made getting around Chongqing easy and efficient.
The building is tall (49 floors), but thankfully there are plenty of elevators, so waiting time was minimal. Before our arrival, the hotel contacted us in advance to inform us that there was ongoing renovation work in the building, which might cause some noise, and also let us know that the hot water runs through a heater — so we would need to wait about 30 minutes between showers. We really appreciated the proactive communication.
Our room was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. However, one disappointment was that we had booked a river view room through the app, but upon check-in, we were told that the reserved room didn’t include a river view after all. Unfortunately, our limited Chinese wasn’t enough to understand the full explanation.
The service was great — the staff were helpful and polite. All communication was done through WeChat, as the staff do not speak English, but they tried their best to assist us. The hotel itself looks new and well maintained.
Overall, considering the price and quality, this hotel is a great choice for travelers looking for a clean, well-located place to stay in Chongqing.

I stayed at this establishment for almost a week. It was supposed to be 2 days. I thoroughly enjoined my stay in the room, and the river view from my room was magnificent. I do recommend booking it. The bed soft, very clean location is close. Restaurants shops are close by, I'm from Australia, so I didn't have a Chines number for *******. The lovely Ivy at the reception helped me order. I will say all the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks guys

I had a great stay at Xiyada. It’s a hotel inside a large apartment building. It’s spacious and clean with all amenities. It’s a very nice and quiet area. I didn’t directly see many food shops/restaurants. We walked to the metro each time to go out and about for the day or took a didi taxi back.

Just stone away from Huaxinjie station ( 5 mins walk). Please follow the exit 2 direction and walk opposite exit 2 you will see highrise building after walk out from the station. Guanyingqiao is walkable too about 15- 20 mins. Alternatively you also can take CRT (Metro) just one station ahead.

It is a high rise building shared by about 20 different hotels. More than ten elevator are freely used by these hotels. The one we stayed is from 36th floor and up. The scenic view from our winder is great. The only drawback as we see it is that the breakfast has limited choice.

We are foreign travellers from Australia so we have a very limited understanding of Chinese.
When we got to the hotel after being lost for 2 hours, walking around in our luggage, it was 10pm. Because we do not have a Chinese number, we could not sign up to any food delivery apps.
When we asked reception, the kind gentleman helped us order some food. This was a major help as we had not had dinner after coming from Chengdu. He spoke to us with English and definitely helped us have a much better night.
Amazing rooms too, would have paid much more for the quality and spaciousness of the place

The metro is just opposite the building, as well it is cheap and easy to get a taxi by the roadside. We took the 180-degree view room and it was fantastic. The wifi is good. We went out to Wulong between 2 stays and left big luggage with them.
