We recently stayed at the Chongqing Ashan River View Hotel (Jiefangbei Raffles Square Branch), and it was an amazing experience! The service was truly outstanding. Despite the language barrier, the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful. One of the lovely ladies even went out of her way to pick us up from the mall, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Our room was upgraded to a beautiful river-view duplex, and I have to say it was absolutely stunning. The room was spotless, and the tranquility of the place made for a peaceful and restful stay. There were no disturbances, and I slept like a baby, which is always a huge plus when traveling.
I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service, beautiful rooms, and great location. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Chongqing!

Hotel was very convenient and near a popular tourist spot called the Raffles City.  however, there is construction within the building itself so it might be noisy in the morning. If you wake up early, I think it shouldn’t be a problem since you will avoid the construction timing. The staff was very friendly with the checking in and checking out.

Exceptional and prompt customer service! The hotel offered a free upgrade so we got a loft with nice view of the river and Raffles City. Everything was perfect, although the floor cleanliness could use some improvement. When it gets windy, the windows would produce some noise though.

Excellent location and view 🤩👍 We stayed three nights and could explore Chongqing very good from this destination. The breakfast is with small variety, quality is good especially with the Chongqing noodle soup 😋 and price is very low 😃

Our first stay at this hotel was great! The location is Amazing, right in front of Chongqing’s iconic buildings, with breathtaking views that made every moment special. It’s also within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops, so exploring was a breeze.
The service team was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist in person and by WeChat. The room was comfy and clean, offering a great vantage point to soak in the city’s charm. I’d highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Chongqing!

The hotel prime location made it easy to explore the city. The service is exceptional with staff going beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Great value for money. Highly recommended for its excellent service and convenient location.

Beautiful hotel. Definitely worth the price. Located very central across from Raffle City and right at the metro station. The reception is on the 21 floor then the room depends on what you are assigned. The room itself was relatively clean and had everything you needed for your stay. They only thing they can improve is to install hangers for the towels. There is nowhere in the bathrooms you could hang your towels to dry. Staff is very helpful and friendly though expect to use a translator if you don't speak Chinese. Breakfast is ok for the price

This was my second stay at Ashan River View, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The views overlooking the river and Raffles City Chongqing are simply spectacular—especially at night. The room was spotless, spacious, and cozy. Staff members were welcoming and helpful, making my stay even more comfortable. The location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return again!
