Qiushe Hotel is located in Building D of Times Square, with an excellent location. Jiefangbei is just downstairs, making it convenient to go to any tourist attraction. The hotel staff is enthusiastic and attentive, and any problems are solved in a timely manner. The hotel facilities are generally average, and the rooms do not have platform tables, which makes it inconvenient to put boxes and backpacks. Some rooms only have a bedside table with limited space. The central air-conditioning has good hot air; the shower room is good, with plenty of hot water and no overflow; the smart toilet in the room feels good too.

Was upgraded to a big room with very nicely done decor. Very spacious, tidy and comfortable, and I was able to watch TV programme as well. Kudos to the friendly receptionist for the early room checkout once the room is being cleanup. Thank you. Have decided to book one more day before flying off from the city.

Hotel location is at Jiefangbei area and was very convenient to walk around. There's food around the corner. They even do washing and drying for clothes everyday if you need. The reception area only serves tea now, no snacks as per the older reviews. I only saw some peas and small French bun offered 2 days before I left. They have blood oranges for fruits platter only. Toilet is a little tight cuz of the design. Other than that I was quite satisfied w the stay. The room size is as per advertised unless if you're a solo traveler they might give you a smaller room cuz we booked both same sized room but they gave my dad a slightly smaller room instead.

Overall stay was great..the staff were polite and willing to help. There is free laundry service too. But do expect a queue. It's only possible if you're not in a rush to get your clothes back. The lift is real slow because of the high level you will be staying at. It's an apartment in a hotel, xinhua international. So might be confusing to find because you wont see S.island's sign outside of the building. the view is good but somehow the vibe of the place can't feel it. But location is sure good with tons of food place. Walking distance from jiefangbei, hongyadong and many more depends how much you can walk. There is many park and running track too.

The location is perfect. You are surrounded by restaurants, shops and it’s walkable to some of the big tourist attractions. There is also a metro station a sort 5 minute walk from the hotel.
The room was large, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet so easy to get a good nights sleep.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The only negative to the hotel is that it’s in a shared building that only has 2 elevators. One of which only goes up the first few floors that includes the hotel reception, but the room I was on was on the 29th floor which only 1 of the elevators reached and you could often wait a long time for it to arrive.
Other than it could do with extra elevators the hotel is a great base to explore the city. The location couldn’t be much better.

The overall experience was good and I extreme impressed by the staff called Xiao Ru. She has been welcoming us with warmth and care from the first day we arrived
Travelling with kids was always challenging but Xiao Ru has provided excellent service and patience for our queries.
She has been kind enough to follow up if we need any further assistance on a daily basis. We had an early travel plan and she ensured her colleagues in another shift sending fruit to us every day after her shift. Additionally, she assisted the laundry pick up from our room and ready before our return to the room.
Since we were on a night flight, a complimentary late check out was really helpful to ease out hassle.
The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of options and the location was superb too.
We'll definitely consider Mercure for our next visit!

We wanted to love it. Has potential as the location is central to all the attractions, food and shopping. You can see it all on foot.
But the elevator situation makes it frustrating because it’s a shared building with hotels on each floor. You check-in on the 20th floor, our room was on the 19th. Good size, had amenities (toothbrushes, soap etc) but cleanliness could have been better.
We only stayed one night because we had to wait 10-15 minutes every time for the elevator and the second issue was the internet.
It was non-existent in our room. Your room number is your log-in and you get a password. Our room number wasn’t even a choice in the network. We were told to use the room next door when we asked about it. That didn’t work either. I wfh so I can stay anywhere as long as there is strong WiFi.
So we ended up using my husband’s hotspot. The elevator and internet were the reasons we checked out and went to a neighboring property since we loved the location.

Spacious room generally clean with all amenities provided.
Location of the hotel was superb as it’s at the center of where all the famous must see places are (generally all walkable with 20mins)
However the room was advertised as river view which was you could see it but there are definitely buildings blocking the view.
Secondly housekeeping wasn’t the cleanest, I found they sometimes just refold used towels instead of replacing them.

NNyan Zhe Chen”I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Regent Hotel! The service was impeccable, and I especially loved the thoughtful features like the bubble bath available on request and the convenient daily laundry service. The in-house restaurants and bar, with their spectacular views, were perfect for unwinding and enjoying the best the hotel has to offer. Special mention to Jackson Li and Edward Xu for going above and beyond to make my stay truly memorable. I can't wait to return!

JJangusFor this price, you get a large room with amazing floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the 重庆 cityscape. The building has many cool shops as well including the 云端之眼 which has a panoramic view of the city. Someone mentioned in the comments that the slippers “cost” ¥30, but it’s actually free as long as you don’t take it away.

Personally, I would rate if a hotel were a real five star hotel or simply a 'self-proclaimed' five star hotel based on the service rendered. Le Meridien Chongqing excelled in this aspect. Every staff member I had interacted with was friendly and warm.
Check-in: Was swift and unlike many chinese hotels which are distrusting of their customers, they did not ask for a deposit. Saves the hassle.
Room: It was spacious, I had previously read some other reviews which complained about the red cupboard at the entrance was terrifying, but personally I liked the chinese style decor. The aircon was slightly noisy and not the most effective, but I liked sleeping in a slightly cooler room. The bed was comfortable, although one side seemed to be more 'slept in' than the other, possibly a sign of the hotel's age. I did also notice some stains and wear and tear in the room but it was nothing serious so I will let that slide. The greatest sign of wear and tear is the shower head, which although was Hansgrohe branded, felt like it was about to break when I tried to change the shower mode. Toiletries were from the Malin+Goetz brand, which I really liked! But of course, ThisWorks branded ones used by Marriott hotels are slightly better.
Facilities: There was an indoor pool and a well-equipped gym- with a smith machine, something that is not available in some 5 star hotels. Impressive!
Breakfast: This was the greatest let down in the stay experience. As I was going up the lift, I noticed a sign stating that breakfast was on promotion at 68RMB per person. That could not mean anything good. The breakfast experience was cut to the bone. There were almost no hot cooked food options, except from basics such as eggs, toast, cooked chongqing noodles(plain) and dumplings. There is simply no way that this acceptable as a 5 star hotel breakfast, something that seems to be mentioned by other reviewers.
Other hotel restaurants- Not too sure why I bothered to try out the other hotel restaurants after the disappointing breakfast but, the chinese restaurant served food that was tasty, but the so-called ala-carte buffet was not great. The food options seemed like leftovers from another hotel buffet or something, and I counted a total of 5 pieces of beef when I ordered the dish 'black pepper beef'. Service was good and seemed well-intentioned though, although they seemed puzzled that I was not ordering more-- The food was not good!
Location: Located in Nan'an, I had chosen this hotel as it offered better value for money than its 5 star competitors in JieFangBei or the Conrad. It was also located in front of a Rail Transit station although I only used it once since the trains were crowded and it was quicker to grab a DiDi around. I think the biggest plus regarding its location is the adjacent Wanda Plaza, which had everything from a Sephora, Uniqlo and many other shops. I regretted not visiting it first before hopping on the train.
To summarise, I would recommend a first time visitor to Chongqing to stay in this hotel, but would I visit it again? Perhaps not, as I would like to try out other options in Chongqing that are newer, and can provide better breakfasts.

Everything was a big thumbs up and especially to the staff (including room-keeping) We went out and my boy(7yo) hanged the “don’t disturb tag”. Cleaner informed to reception and they immediately contacted me through (WeChat) to double confirm if house-keeping is required?
Staff at Reception is the biggest thumbs up.! We Would definitely return to stay during the next trip.!!!

The reception is on the 21 floor then the room depends on what you are assigned. The room itself was relatively clean and had everything you needed for your stay. They only thing they can improve is to install hangers for the towels. There is nowhere in the bathrooms you could hang your towels to dry. Staff is very helpful and friendly though expect to use a translator if you don't speak Chinese. Breakfast is ok for the price

Yying yingFirst of all, the location of the hotel is TERRIFIC!!! You step out the door and it is the streetfood street. Very convenient when you wish to grab a quick snack. You could find us there every night. So location good for foodies.
But the location is the only thing that I would recommend about this hotel. The view from the hotelroom is nothing special, except if you choose the landmark room, which still only give you view to the landmark, so in my opinion it’s just an okay view. Except if you room is higher up, then the view will be about better. Otherwise you will look at the landmark and against buildings.
There is a spinning restaurant, which we have enjoyed for a night when receiving the free cocktail, but the view is pretty. View photo included in review is the view from the spinning restaurant at the top floor
It is a young hotel. Not only referring to that it is new, but also the employees working there. Young personnel and do sometimes notice the lack of experience. During check out it is a mad house. Everyone standing (not in line) in front of the front desk to check out. I was trying to stand in line to ask a question and an auntie went in front of me. I told her there was a line and she said she only had to check out and the hotel employee at the desk allowed, however, auntie did not only need to check out, but had a question about her points and took longer because she needed to look up her points…. A tip for the hotel is to work on how to organize the check out, since I do expect more from a 4 star hotel…
Some other things I noticed about the hotel:
- Keycard does not always work very well in elevator. Saw more guest struggling so it was not only our cards.
- Glass door to bathroom which can make quite awkward! We are a couple so it was okay for us, but it was really quite transparent! It was still kind of awkward seeing your partner pooping while you were brushing your teeth, because the sink was right in front of the door…. I imagine this would be really awkward for friends, relatives or someone travelling with older kids. Also there is a gap between door and ceiling so smell easily go out of bathroom….
- Sound insulation from outside not good. We were first put on 14th floor (for those superstitious, yes they use 14 because it is an international hotel. For me that was not a problem) we could hear the sounds from outside because we were half facing the streetfood street. At night could be a bit annoying when staying in the room te relax. Later on we were put on the 26th floor and we could not here it anymore.
We informed our hotel that it was our honeymoon and because we were there on Halloween, they provided a basket with masks and dress up things, which I imagine it was because of Halloween. However, as a newlywed that informed you that was on honeymoon, the basket with black lace dress up products, gave quite weird message 😂 black lace eye mask with back lace folding fan.
Overall, really loved the location and it was indeed very clean. The shared washing machines also was not smelly since it was new. They also have a robot bringing the food. But for the same price, I might opt for something else in the neighbourhood with better view and bigger rooms. There are A LOT of hotels in the vicinity.

GGuest UserI want to thank the hotel staff for taking the initiative to send my nephew to the emergency A&E due to food poisoning. I communicated with them on wechat, and they assisted us greatly.
The location is not very near to the main shopping street (eg Jie Fang Pedestrian or 18 steps). Though hotel informed me that it is walking distance like 15 mins walk. I mainly Didi to places I wanted to go.
Room is huge and comfortable. The good thing is the room has washing machine and washing powder provided.
