This hotel is truly nice. The driver and I had a difficult time seeing where the hotel entrance was. We had to guess. Very engaging lobby, with a check in that went very smooth. There are plenty of amenities at this hotel. Good attached restaurant. The room was very large, very nice, and very comfortable. Very large bathroom, and nice shower. However. The glaring problem here are the thin walls. Every other guest I spoke to had the same complaint. I could annoyingly hear the people walking around above my room. The housekeeping staff could be heard cleaning several rooms away. The hotel guests could be heard walking around the halls and in their rooms. A small amount of noise is to be expected at hotels, but this is just poor design and cheap building. There was also a distinct smell of vomit throughout the hotel. I am not certain if this was the result of the farm land outside, or intoxicated guests. Probably both. If you are here to gamble and drink, you may not notice any of my issues. If you are hear to sleep and work the next day, you may share my concerns.

The environment is very quiet, very comfortable, the room is very clean, the hall can also be seated, look at the community scenery outside, complete the feeling of how to come to Vancouver life is. All Holiday Inns I've stayed in have been excellent, but this one is above the rest. The rooms and amenities were standard and the breakfast was like every other Holiday Inn Express. BUT, what set this one above the rest was the staff. My wife and I were unfamiliar with the area. The desk staff of Julian and Yashman did an incredible job of telling us about local places to eat and visit. They gave us precise instructions on the bus and train systems and how to visit the Vancouver locations we wanted to see. They went well beyond their normal duties to make our visit a success. Julian's and Yashman's attention to detail and outstanding customer service were exemplary.

In addition to the difficulty when checking in, if you encounter a hotel without a front desk for the first time, you must call and tell them your email address. Then the hotel will send you a check-in message, and then you can check in online to get the room number and room password. . Thanks to Ctrip's help, otherwise I really wouldn't be able to check in. What's even more exaggerated is that the hotel service phone is not answered manually. Why is it so mysterious? I can't understand them. However, the room is really big, clean and comfortable. It has a water view at the entrance and is very quiet. It also has a full set of kitchen utensils. However, the air conditioner is too loud and there is no water in the room. This is a shortcoming, but the price is still quite suitable. Yes, it’s only 1,800. It’s nice to have free parking at the door. It’s also very convenient to get to the scenic spots. You can walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, which is pretty good.

While the place was clean and nice, I was really disappointed with my stay because it's essentially just somebody's house that they are living in and you're just getting a room. Calling this a ”superior suite” is a real stretch. It's a regular sized bedroom (with a bathroom and a walk-in closet) so for the price (which was pretty expensive) it didn't feel worth it at all. Plus they add on a $60 cleaning fee that you have to pay in person in cash or e-transfer which is not convenient. Plus it's very far out of the way in the suburbs with little to see or do nearby. Overall I regret purchasing this.
