I was visiting this amazing hotel with my girlfriend. I am danish and she is English. The hotel quickly understood that we communicated in English and they swift to English so both of us understood the information we where giving. It is a little thing but for us a great service. We got a great room in the new building, modern, clean and nice looking. We also visited the Bistro and got an fantastic dinner! The service was high level and they was carrying but not to much. General very professional service in all of the hotel. Five stars! We look forward to visiting this place again.

Zleep Hillerod Hotel Last minute we booked this hotel. There were not many options in Hillerod. This hotel was beautiful. The hotel was new, only 4 months old. The decor was modern with a nice lobby and sitting areas. The staff was friendly. Staff recommended Cafe Kik for dinner. The breakfast buffet had many choices to choose from. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is an older hotel under the Best Western brand, and its dated quality extends to the attitudes of its staff. On a sunny day, the room gets very warm. Since the building is probably well insuated, it stays that way. There's no air conditioning, and when I went downstairs to ask for a fan, I was told they were all out. So I was stuck sleeping with the windows flung wide open, but no real change in temperature. There's also no vending machines, and their restaurant closes early. I asked the elderly woman at the reception desk if I could please have some ice water. She obliged, nicely enough. I went downstairs a couple hours later and made the same request to the gentleman who replaced her on a new shift. He asked if the previous woman had charged me. I said ”no”. He said he'll see what he could do. He came back with some ice water, but before handing it to me, made sure I understood that this was the last free one I would get, and he'd have to charge me from now on. I stayed in my room the rest of the night, and vowed never to stay at this hotel again when I'm in Denmark.

We went to the hotel by car. There is a long way to the hotel. If you take public transportation, you have to walk a lot to get in. Halfway through the drive, you will see the horse farm and the residents who are riding horses, and you will arrive at the hotel after you pass through the stalls. This hotel is also famous for its own golf club, and there are many members depending on the number of parking lots. The castle hotel itself is actually not big. The first floor is mainly a restaurant of decent scale, a guest lounge, and of course a conference hall. The middle terrace on the second floor is actually another restaurant, which can be reserved for businessmen to start a buffet lunch. You can go up and take a look or take pictures when you are not in the dining time. Regarding the rooms, it should be noted that regardless of whether the room type has an auxiliary building or not, as long as it has a balcony or a terrace, it is in the auxiliary building. The main building, which is the only white building, all rooms have no balcony and terrace, including luxury suite. We ordered a room with a terrace, which is actually on the first floor of the annex building next to it. The terrace is a small garden where the back door goes out, but it is not all enclosed. Anyone can walk in directly from the outside. Of course, we have not encountered such a problem. Reasonable people who came directly to sit on our terrace sofa, but it is undeniable that this terrace is a bit disappointing. We also asked the hotel about this, because there is no annex building next to this room type, and the response we got is that the main building and the annex building are connected by underground passages, so all are counted as castles even if the ground looks separated and the colors are different. There was no alternative, we accepted this explanation. We tried the underground passage and it was a bit detour, but it was really convenient on rainy days, but it was very unsuitable for carrying luggage, so our luggage was parked directly at the entrance of our annex building and then moved in. The hotel’s breakfast is more traditional, it is a cold meal. There are not many varieties and it looks exquisite. If you need scrambled eggs, you need to ask the waiter. It is recommended to sit down and look at the menu on the table before deciding. Different egg methods have a difference between a charge and no charge. Although it is almost the same thing, we came up because we did not read the menu blindly and listen to the waiter’s introduction, and we were not told to charge. I'll be a little dumbfounded in the future. But the taste is good. I personally don't like the whole cold meal. It may be the Chinese stomach can't stand it, so it is recommended to order a scrambled egg for no extra charge. Generally speaking, the room is exquisite, the toilet is slightly small but the retro style is very good, the writing desk is special and style I like it, and it is worth mentioning that I asked the front desk for hot water, and then gave me one Come over with a hot water kettle. As a Danish hotel that generally does not have a hot water kettle, this is worth extra points.
