Die Mitarbeitern sind sehr super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sehr sauber
Das Lager liegt in der Nähe von Haltestelle Messe/Deutz. Ca2min zu Fuß laufen.

It is next to the exit of the Köln/Deutz train station is a silent area. We could checkin before the official checkin time and the staff was helpfull. Nextdoor there is a kebap restaurant which is seemingly popular in this area. The carpets in the room are very dusty, so people with airway problems can have some problematich allergic reactions. The bathroom is certainly not new and the cabin of the shower fell in two pieces when touching it, so it is a very fragile and old construction. There are no slippers in the room and also not available from the reception.

I stayed here for 2 nights in October. I came in the back entrance from the street and was initially unimpressed. There was a self-check in the lobby but I proceeded to the front desk. I was checked in quickly and took the older-style elevator to my room. The room was simple and clean. I had two twin beds pushed together to make one bed, which I didn't love because they would push apart while I was sleeping. Also, the shower doors were a little awkward. I thought I might be stuck in there one morning. The breakfast was my favorite. Fresh honeycomb, and the juicers made all the difference to me. There was a juicer with vegetables also a orange juice press. There was just a lovely combination of food that would make me stay here again. I was able to walk to a Michelin-starred restaurant in 5 minutes. from the back. In the front is a nice courtyard with a variety of stores. I didn't get a chance to explore while everything was opened.

Horror Hotel should be the name of this disappointing establishment. Despite my first visit in 2010, COVID seems to have had an immensely negative impact. Ranging from waiting for the constantly non present personelle to getting the worst sleep of your life. Starting with my wait at the reception for 15 minutes, I knew something was off. The waiters were uneducated and unprofessional, almost unable to tell the difference between a tomato and a bell pepper. To finish off the day, excited to sleep after this disappointing start, I have spent my night calling the lazy reception to tell off the loud partying individuals in the garden underneath the window ( unfortunately to result).

jedes Mal wenn wie auf ein Konzert gehen in Köln, checken wir im Insel Hotel ein. Wir sind gerne dort und fühlen uns sehr wohl dort. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gross genug. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück sehr gute Qualität und reichhaltig. Und nicht zu vergessen die Bar direkt daneben um nach dem Konzert noch ein lecker Kölsch zu trinken.

Wie waren anlässlich einer Veranstaltung in der Lanxess Arena für zwei Nächte zu Gast im Insel Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus ist sauber und gut gepflegt, das Frühstück hat eine gute Vielfalt und Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungs-Niveau passt absolut. Die Rezeption ist rund um die Uhr besetzt. Man kann wunderbar zu Fuß über die Hohenzollernbrücke in die Altstadt gehen. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist hervorragend. Die Nähe zur Lanxess-Arena ist unschlagbar! Dort kann man auch wunderbar parken. Wir werden uns auch in Zukunft gerne wieder für dieses Haus entscheiden.
