It's quite a walk from the station. It was a little difficult because I had a lot of luggage and it was raining, but I think people who don't have that kind of luggage can afford it! The interior is stylish and the furniture is cute! Even if you don't include breakfast, you can drink coffee for free! There is a cafe, so you can buy bread etc. (I had something like croissants) Also, there is a 1 hour happy hour from 5pm, and you can get up to 2 glasses of wine for free! We took a room with bunk beds and a shared toilet and bath. The room is small. There was only a sink in the room! I was staying in a room on the 4th floor, but the shared toilet and shower room were on the basement floor, so it was difficult to move around. Also, the shower rooms were the same for men and women, and the curtains were the same, so you couldn't lock the door, so it was scary for women. I felt like it might be. (There are two showers, but there is no separation between them.)
You can leave your luggage in the basement, but since only the space is rented out, security is not very safe. I didn't mind and let me leave it there even after checking in!

Although check-in was a few hours late, Andre at the front desk was very polite and always had a smile on his face. The hotel is in a century-old building, in a lively area. It's very close to the attractions and surrounded by restaurants and bars, which is very convenient. The only drawback is that the sound insulation is poor, the room given is on the 1/2 floor, and the neighborhood is very noisy in the middle of the night...

So central! I was really surprised. Right near the Tivoli gardens and I could see the fireworks from my window. Beds were soft and clean. The hotel lets you decide when you want your room cleaned which was a nice touch .

Booked Coco hotel on a sort of a rush for New Year and by a recommendation from a friend. When I checked the reviews later on was a bit hesitant about my decision, complaints about cleaness, noise, service.
In my case I found all the opposite.
First great surprise: I had to make an ammendment on my booking and Coco hotel staff was accomodating.
Service and communication: Before my arrival, I made few inquiries by email to Coco Hotel. I got everything sorted out, the replies were fast and got tons of useful information.
Room were not big, not great but for Europe and Particularly Copenhagen standards were good enough
I stayed in Winter so a fridge wasn't something i really needed.
Room service came everyday, very clean and kind, always with a smile.
Coco Hotel also has a very nice Coffee/bar on the first floor. I was staying on the level 1 (not ground level) and hardly heard a noise
Lonela and Saulius at the frontdesk were always responsive and very very ver kind.

The location is excellent, near the New Port. It takes 700 meters to walk from the airport to the New Port by subway. The main attractions can be reached on foot, such as the New Port, Rosenborg Palace, Frederick Church, Mermaid, etc. The room is on the canal, with a panoramic view of the Opera House and the Royal Theater. Although the room is not big, it has a strong sense of design, good quality, and antique style. There is a Chinese restaurant (Dongyuan) near the New Port, and the food is OK.

Great for a short week in Copenhagen. Walking distance to the central station, the main shopping street, and some of the tourist-spots you should visit if it’s your first time in town. We especially liked the roof-terrace which has excellent views and is a bit of an oasis in the buzzing center of Copenhagen. Recommend!
Wonderful experience at villa copenhagen. The check-in took a little too long because we booked 1 large bed but they put me to twin room. The lady receptionist tried to solved it best as she could. We stayed here 2 nights. The rooftop pool experience is a must for the visit. The room interior is fully and classy decorated with high quality materials. Bed was nice. I recommended this hotel if you transit by train. The location is right by the train platform, back exit. The lobby bar vibe was cozy and lively.
Strategically located, only 5 min on foot from Copenhagen Central station. A lot of hotels in this area and I think Hotel Mayfair quite stood out with its bright signage and big building.
The room itself was clean and quite spacious, enough for 3 travellers. However, some things to note include - there's no fridge in the room so you will have to store your perishables in the staffs fridge in the luggage room, no kettle and also cups provided are too small for even coffee provided.
One letdown was the poor ventilation for bathroom. There was some kind of odd smell from the toilet every time we entered the room.
Staff were all attentive and helpful, they helped us with filling up hot water and storing our bags before checking in.
Great hotel and convenient to walk to all major attractions and city centre. Around 20mins from airport by metro and a 5minute walk to hotel. The staff were very friendly and made sure to leave a birthday treat for us which was appreciated. For the price of the hotel it's a pity that they only provide one bottle of water and later charge 55k for a new bottle. Most hotels will replenish this free daily. Overall very comfortable stay.

This hotel is highly recommended. Whether it is from the location of the hotel, quality of service, infrastructure, it is perfect! My mom heard that Ctrip can write reviews, so let me write a good comment. The breakfast is quite rich and picturesque. The room is large, there are a lot of compartments, and the hotel is also quite thoughtful. Only you can't think of it, without them being prepared, I think I should be able to satisfy all kinds of discerning guests. In the winter, you can also have a fireplace. It’s really burning wood. My mom's favorite is the garden next to the hotel. It is free to enter the hotel. It is really super beautiful, all kinds of flowers, various amusement facilities, various restaurants, my mom has to go shopping every night. The hotel is in the center of the city, the traffic is very convenient, just buy something to walk, no need to take a taxi, what brand can be found around it. Maybe its appearance is not so conspicuous, but walking into the hotel will really shock you. I am also a very picky person, this hotel really makes me quite satisfied, strong Amway, very worthy of its price, do not hesitate.

RRobynm98My Girlfriend and I visited Copenhagen mid December for a Christmas break. We knew we wanted to be within easy reach of the city centre and the Christmas markets without having to pay too much. This location was perfect, it was a short walk from the metro station and the travel around the city was cheap. We opted for the larger room with our own bathroom, and upon entering the room we put the two single beds on the ground level together to make a double. Upon entering the hotel, the staff were friendly and approachable and the hotel felt very social and friendly with downstairs areas for people to chill, and even a kitchen area to store and prepare your own food. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage safely in lockers until check in (they offered different sized lockers to cater for bigger cases.) The room was clean and offered two wardrobe areas for us to hang our stuff. the curtains which went round the bed and the mood lighting which could be personalised, as well as the lack of windows made for a very good sleep. The smaller pods also looked cool, we just opted for the larger space for our belongings and again at a very good price, even for 3 nights. There was plenty of option for snacks and drinks in the hotel lobby and you just needed to use your wristband to add them to your final bill. I would definitely recommend staying again and would like to see this sort of hotel and price in more cities. Although we did not opt for breakfast, it was my understanding that if you did you were given vouchers to use at local nice breakfast places. We made use of the coffee machine, and there was also a free kettle to use if you had your own tea bags.
MmariochristophorouExcellent Location, but Room for Improvement in Services
The hotel’s location is ideal, with direct access to the lake and a beautiful surrounding area. Regarding amenities, while there are several options (sauna, gym, steam bath), the overall experience does not match that of other Marriott hotels I have visited.
There were some shortcomings in the room that should not have been present. For instance, the shower gel dispenser was empty upon my arrival, and I had to notify the reception. Items such as toothbrushes, bathrobes, and slippers were not provided in the room but could be collected from the entrance. I would prefer these essentials to be available in the room initially.
The breakfast was satisfactory, though not as rich as in other Marriott locations. There was a delay in the process of entering the restaurant, with only one staff member handling guest seating. This occasionally led to wait times of up to 10 minutes during peak hours (notably on 4 out of the 8 days of my stay).
However, the staff was impeccable—extremely polite, professional, and always willing to assist. If some improvements are made in amenities and organization, the hotel could offer a more complete and enjoyable stay.

BBlaithin PatriciaThe Hostel is really cool. They have loads of events everyday for you to drop in to. They give a free beer everyday. Lots of events for friends and solo travellers to mingle. The bus outside also goes straight to the airport.
One thing that I didn’t like though was there wasn’t a curtain for the pods. The pot door is quite wide and without a curtain there’s no way to get privacy while in the bed.

PProcessedfoodWe recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. We got the Double Absalon Room. Here’s a breakdown of our thoughts:
The Good
• Great Location: The hotel is conveniently located near København Station, making it easy to travel around the city.
• Breakfast Selection: The breakfast spread was decent, with a good variety of options to start the day well.
• Helpful Staff: The female staff members at the check-in counter were friendly, approachable, and provided great service.
The Bad
• Inconvenient Room Access: Our room was located further down the hallway, requiring us to navigate multiple steps and doors while carrying luggage. This was quite inconvenient and unexpected.
• Privacy Concerns: Despite placing a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, staff still entered our room while we were out. We returned to find chocolates and a card left inside, which, while a thoughtful gesture, would have been better received if handed to us personally at breakfast or reception.
• Unsafe Bathroom Design: The bathtub and shower setup felt outdated and unsafe. My wife nearly slipped, and the floor flooded after each use, forcing us to use towels to prevent slipping.
• Lack of Convenience: There were limited charging points in the room, and we had to rearrange furniture just to create a charging station.
• Small & Uncomfortable Bed: The bed was surprisingly small, even for two average-sized Asian adults (both around 1.7m tall). It felt cramped and uncomfortable.
• Strange Room Layout: There was an additional door leading to another room, which made us feel uneasy, especially after the unexpected entry from staff earlier.
Overall Impression
The hotel did not meet our expectations for a 4-star stay. It felt more like a 3-star experience, and given our concerns about privacy, convenience, and comfort, we wouldn’t recommend it to travelers looking for a relaxing stay. In contrast, we had a much better experience at IBIS, which offered better facilities and a more enjoyable stay.
GGuest UserThe staff were friendly, even at the early hours of the morning, and it’s like 2 minutes or even less to the metro station (Nørrebro) on the main city line. Very easy to get to and the beds were super comfy
GGuest UserNeat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.

LLilian. The two male receptionists at the night shift are fabulous. They are not only nice and helpful in giving grocery and money exchange information, but also very willing to share the Copenhagen culture with us.
They are very friendly which has given us remarkable hospitality.
The room is not big but very enough for 2 person, yet, the tidiness is satisfying with this price. The window outside is the road and sea, quiet and beautiful, very enjoyable living.
There is no toothpaste, toothbrush or slippers, please prepare for yourself, given that the hotel price is really low compared to other options.
Will definitely recommend to friends or family who wanna come visit Copenhagen.

AAnonymous UserThe rooms were smaller than seen on the picture. The place was not so far from the city. It wasn't easy to get to the rooms. You had to walk a long way, passing through many doors with your suitcases in your hand.
GGuest UserLocated beside Field's shipping centre, convenient to get food and sundries. My room was on the 10th floor on a Saturday night, guests on lower levels were very noisy till the wee hours of the morning. There was a stench in the corridor on the 10th. A couple of front desk staff attitude was so cold and no smiles. Made me doubt at first sight whether I have made a wrong choice of hotel. Fortunately, there were others who were helpful and kind...sets the balance though. Would only stay there again should there be no other choices.
ZzymfycThe only advantage of this hotel is that it is conveniently located near the central railway station, next to the subway m3 & 4, and there is a convenient 5c bus to the airport (cash only), and it is only 300 meters away from the side door of the railway station.
Next, let's talk about the magical foreign hotel services:
1. Early check-in charges 200dkk
2. Luggage storage, 10dkk/h, free storage is only in a few lockers
3. Check-out time is 11 am, late charge 300
4. The curtains are very light-transmitting, and the room feels bright at 7 am
Through this hotel, I fully appreciate the difference in service. Domestic hotel peers are too excellent, and the price of downtown hotels in Colombia is really far ahead, basically no one is less than 2k.
