Loved it. True 5* luxury! Beautiful spotless rooms with lovely touches like wine and chocolates. Decor was stunning in hotel. So tastefully done with gorgeous Christmas displays. Food for dinner and breakfast was delicious! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pool was lovely. Not cheap to stay but well worth every penny!

Really nice hotel, room was lovely, clean and spacious. We went for a lovely walk and ended up sitting outside at the clubhouse, beautiful views of golf course there and the nachos were pretty good!. Breakfast was fab, lots of choice. Food in the Amber restaurant was gorgeous. Only negative was the charcuterie board was a terrible letdown. Anna in the restaurant was fantastic at her job. Staff overall were great. Would definitely go again.

Needed a short break to wind down after a hectic few months and we felt FOTA was the place to go Luxury from the minute you walk into the hotel ... super staff who make you feel like family ... despite the poor weather the hotel has loads of food options and a wonderful spa ... great hydrotherapy pool area as well Christmas decorations are very well done and add lovely atmosphere to all areas ..

Celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we decided to travel from Donegal to fota island resort. Upon arrival this beautiful setting we were greeted with a very warm welcome and shown to our luxurious room. The food in the fota restaurant was outstanding especially the having such a variety of gluten free options, and only surpassed by the wonderful staff (particularly Anna) this is truly a special treat and we very much look forward to returning. The Christmas decor made it even a more magical experience. Well done

An excellent stay, all round... From a warm welcome with Thomas at reception to a beautiful breakfast with very hospitable staff incl Jane who served us. The hotel provides High speed WiFi, lovely facilities such as the pool sauna and jacuzzi. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and decorative. The bath is large and deep. I will recommend this place to everyone. Absolutely a bargain for under 200 euro one Sunday in September.

We stayed at the hotel for 4 days during our wedding weekend and it was such a wonderful stay. Accommodation ,food, staff & overall atmosphere in the hotel is amazing. Beautiful gardens & golf course are an extra bonus.Can't wait to return for another stay.

We genuinely could not fault our two-night stay. From arrival to departure, everything was exceptional. Our room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, with an iPad that made booking dinner and pool access effortless. The food was outstanding, and every aspect of our experience exceeded expectations. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to returning in April! Thank you to the entire team for such a comfortable and memorable visit.
