CovStays – Victoria House - Deluxe Studios in Coventry City Centre

Pros - Clean room, cooking equipment (pots, pans, knives) and plates and bowls are available, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar in jars for free, ready to move in - 2 pillows / wardrobe + 4 hangers / towels / soap, shampoo / hand soap - There is a heater in the bathroom, but it is not very hot, but the heater in the room is warm-hot, but it often cuts off by itself, you have to turn it off and on again - You can leave your luggage, inform the accommodation in advance / There is a wardrobe, a writing desk and a steel cabinet in the room - 100 meters from the accommodation, there is a go local Indian shop open from 7.00-1.00 - From the accommodation, walk for 5 minutes, there is a small mall with almost everything, Aldi, Food Factory, boots, furniture, some things are cheaper than Tesco - Walk for 15 minutes to the center of Coventry - There is parking in front of the accommodation And the back can park more than 10 cars. Disadvantages - Booked room 305 (18 sq.m.) for 2 people, but the accommodation gave room 206 (12 sq.m.) instead, very small, claimed that the room was full, so the other person could not stay with me. The accommodation said that if there was a room available the next day, they would move, but they had already unpacked their stuff and were too lazy to pack it again, so they stayed for 3 more nights. The accommodation did not compensate anything, but Trip took very good care of them, giving them compensation in coins for being changed rooms suddenly and canceling it if they did not stay any longer. - Room 206 is opposite the laundry room. People coming in and out can be heard because all the doors are set to close loudly and cannot be closed softly. - Hair dryers are available for borrowing / No toothbrushes / No elevator / There are 3 floors, about 10 rooms per floor. - Mon-Fri, there will be staff only from 9:30 to 16:30. If you check in on Sat-Sun, there are no staff, you have to press the code to receive the key at the door yourself. - Room 206, the sink system will make a loud noise from time to time. The toilet makes a constant dripping sound, which makes it difficult to sleep.

The overall environment of the hotel is great, the facilities in the house are very complete, the TV can be connected to Netflix to watch movies, especially cooking is very convenient. The bathroom is very clean, the room is very soundproof, and there is no noise at all when sleeping at night. It's also very convenient to go out. It's a 5-minute walk to the train station. Overall, I feel very satisfied and it's worth the money~
