Clean, tidy, comfortable, reasonably priced, and at a great location. I have stayed here many times and plan on returning. The owner and the maid are friendly. A courtyard and a small kitchen are a plus. What's not to like? Casa del Solar is a very good place to stay in Cozumel. I'll be back.

We stayed here while on a destination trip to compete in Ironman Cozumel. The owner is very nice and quick to respond to any questions. The property is small but very clean well cared for. We enjoyed meeting the other travelers! The location is perfect to walk the downtown and enjoy all that is offered. We will definitely stay again if we travel back to Cozumel!

Casa del Solar is a warm, friendly guesthouse with a perfect location in Centro Cozumel. Not only is it just a block from the ocean (and just a few blocks from the ferry), it also within walking distance from the more popular areas of Centro Cozumel, along with the less touristy areas of Centro Cozumel, with lots of restaurants popular with locals just a short walk away. I was supposed to check in to this hotel on July 19, 2024 -- the day of the Global IT outage. It took two days to get my flights rebooked; the manager of the guesthouse was very flexible and patient with the situation and really helped get my vacation plans back on track. I am so grateful!!

Amazing experience with Casa Del Solar! Location is perfect near the center and my boyfriend and I felt very safe staying here for a week. Rooms were cleaned every day, and Teresa (the owner) was a great host. We had a flat tire on the island and Teresa even came to our rescue! Great time in Cozumel and will definitely be back to the island and stay at Casa Del Solar!

What a tranquil tropical oasis!!! Location, location, location. Impeccable service! The owner Teresa is a total gem! Her knowledge of the area is simply amazing! 15 minute walk to the ferry to Playa del Carmen...a 5 star bakery 2 minute walk away...multiple local restaurants minutes away..huge grocery store 6 blocks away. The cleanliness of this property is unparalleled. My six days here was the peace and quiet I definitely needed. I simply cannot wait to go back...and it will be soon! Thanks so much for a much needed recharge and rejuvenation.

Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! The owner is very, very nice and I immediately felt comfortable walking in. It is removed from the street, quiet and cozy. All the rooms look really cute and the bed I got was very comfortable. It is also very close to everything. It's a 5 minute walk to the water, the touristy center of town, restaurants and dive shops. It's only 10 minutes away from local eats and a big supermarket as well. There is a shared kitchen and refrigerator and a supply of safe water. The resident dog is awesome! The price (at this time of posting) was extremely affordable, especially for all that you get! Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at casa del solar during both our trips in 2021 and 2022. Our room was bright and clean. The host Theresa and her crew make you feel right at home. The community kitchen is equipped with drinking water, coffee, and microwave to make your stay just more comfortable. This house is located at the heart of Centro. Only one block away from the water, and 2 blocks away from the main square Benito Juarez Park. Walking distance to ferry, and restaurants/shops. If you need any help with parking, scooter renting, tour booking, please let Theresa know! This place is always quiet & secured, we will be visiting again!

We stayed at Casa feel Solar on our final leg of an epic trip through Yucatan. Theresa was a perfect host: firstly we got the last room without any problems. Next she made sure that we’d max out our experience on Cozumel (including a great deal with the local car rental). She is really knowledgeable and her delivery was perfect. On day two we wanted to get a recommendation for a restaurant serving fresh fish and it was probably the best restaurant we had spent time at. 5 stars treatment. The room was spacious, clean and the combo between AC and rotating fan were perfect to deal with the otherwise high temperatures. We’ll recommend this place to any of our friends when coming to Cozumel!
