Very expensive for what it is The room wasn’t that big and the breakfast basic Very near to the ferry terminal though which is useful and handy (no taxi required)

Amazing staff that made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Great location - we were able to walk everywhere from there! The rooms were cozy and quiet, with lots of wonderful spaces to hang out. The Rum punch in the evening was a nice touch too.

I’ve been visiting St John for about 20 years. I always stayed in villas until about 5-6 years ago. It was then that I started staying at the Inn. The location is perfect for walking around town and the best is the way they make you always feel welcome. Donna gives great input on places to go and things to see, always promoting the beauty and history of St John. She is so good to us. Every time I’ve been here at the Inn, it has been cfortable, clean, and they will do anything to make your stay a pleasure. Go! Enjoy! Tell the team how great they are!

Staying at the St John Inn was fun. Michael and Maria the staff were very friendly and helpful! They provide a continental breakfast and serve complimentary rum punch each day on their patio. These were great times to talk to other travelers and staff about activities, restaurants etc. The hotel itself is not the standard hotel set up and its not a resort. Its an older place that has been updated. The rooms however were clean and amply furnished. Lots of vivid colors inside and out which was also kind of fun. Bed was comfortable/ TV worked fine. there is a small pool (we did not use it). It's location is walkable to to the ferry/ restaurants/ shops/ taxis etc. While you can easily walk to the ferry a cab is nice if you have much luggage. A negative is there are a lot of stairs and they are not avoidable.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the St. John Inn!! This is a small hotel and you can tell that the staff take pride in providing a comfortable, clean property. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants and a grocery store (if you don't mind hills). The staff even had a surprise for us to celebrate our anniversary! The air conditioning was great in our room, and we loved the free breakfast and afternoon rum punch. The location is also extremely convenient from the Cruz Bay ferry. They had beach chairs and snorkel gear to borrow as well! I would absolutely stay here again on a future St. John visit!

This was our 4th stay at St John Inn since 2020. We have done one night stays and multi-night stays. This time we were there for our last night of an 18 day visit so we could have a night in Cruz Bay and be close to the ferry for departure. We had to turn in a rental car so we arrived early, around 10:00 am. Courtesy rental is just a few steps away and is our go-to for rentals after many years of visiting the island. Our room was open so the office manager for the day, Fredna, accommodated our very early check-in and even offered breakfast and helped me move bags to the room. We met the property manager, Donna, who was helping guests make reservations and helping guests plan activities, even on her “day off”. All the staff was amazing and we enjoyed a day of lounging by the pool to relax after a long trip. We stayed in the Hart Bay room (111), which is a standard room that is accessed from the office area. The room was very clean. We had a mini fridge and microwave which was perfect for preparing a light lunch to eat by the pool. We have also stayed in the Honeymoon room (120), the Cruz Bay room, and the 2 BR suite with shared bath. All the rooms are unique, but consistently decorated in a colorful, Caribbean style. They also have excellent WiFi throughout the property :).
