Great all inclusive hotel with great activities for kids. Good food. Great service. As all inclusive you still don’t get alcohol when you want. There is wine and beer during lunch, and after 18:00 opens the bar with limited drinks, for example dry white wine and sparkling wine are not available. We stayed 3 nights , and we had sand in bed , so room clean service couldn’t manage to keep it away.

It’s overpriced, but being inside the desert national park has its perks.
The bar at the top floor is very nice, and the decoration of the hotel is great. The staff is super attentive and friendly.
Checking in at the visitor center is a let down, it’s crowded, noisy, disorganised, and the very junior staff cannot deal with foreigners. They have no clue what to do with passports, ask irrelevant questions about residence permits for visitors, and are not willing to speak English.
Breakfast and dinner are buffet style, meaning that you will have to fight off hordes of rude people and feral kids, who don’t understand the concept of queuing.
The swimming pools are cold.
The rooms are substandard for the price, and the bathrooms are tiny and flood when you shower.
There’s a bar by the pool, but they don’t serve anything.
It’s a unique experience, but don’t expect very high levels of comfort nor a 5 star hotel experience

I had an amazing experience at the Lotus Hotel in Inner Mongolia. It was all because of the help I received from the concierge.
I especially want to thank Room Concierge Han Chunjuan and Wang Yuyang, who took such great care of me during my stay. They were kind, thoughtful, and always one step ahead when it came to making sure I was comfortable. Their hospitality really made the experience feel special.

The hotel service was very good, and while the room was quite standard, it was comfortable. We were fortunate to meet a staff member named Tintin who spoke English well and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The food was decent and served buffet-style, with a variety of options. There were also snacks available in the lobby, a coffee shop offering complimentary coffee, and a bar with free drinks. The hotel provides several different areas to explore and enjoy, and we especially appreciated the fireworks at night. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with something for everyone to enjoy.

Don’t expect much for the rooms, you are paying for the all you can eat and drink, fast pass, and amazing experience of the desert, kids loved it!
