Location is quite central, in the heart of Dali Ancient Town. Its entrance is a few steps into a side lane of one of the town's busiest East-West axis...
It's very easy to walk pass and miss the lane entrance - - - see photo showing the lane entrance... including the neon signage of the hotel).
My room is probably the most affordable one, located on the ground floor, with window right next to another lane. This time of the year is off season, so I didn't encounter any noisy disturbances by pedestrians using the lane at night.
My first complaint about the room is the water outlets' hot/cold control... It was extremely difficult, if not impossible, NOT to be scarced by the bathroom's hot water....
I was also disappointed that I couldn't watch any CCTV live broadcasts, without having to subscribe to paid cable news channels. I think access to national news broadcast should be mandatory and free!

An old house with an antique flavor, it is quite comfortable to live in. It is also a good experience to meet an ancient town in an ancient town and enjoy the same ancient buildings and beds. Although it is on the street, it is quite quiet. The store provides earplugs. The washroom is a bit small. There is good Pu'er tea in the rest area for guests to drink at will.

The owner will confirm the check-in time with you once the order is placed. He also told us to wear a coat when we go out to prevent sunburn. When we extended our stay, we booked a room on the first floor. The original room on the second floor was gone. The owner also gave us a room for free! !

The inn is located in the center of Dali Ancient Town. Because it is in a small alley, it is not noisy at all.
The decoration style is very unique, and the room is very clean and hygienic.
The boss is very nice. He carefully introduced us to the surrounding tourist attractions. He also provided us with aloe vera gel when we accidentally got sunburned the next day. I was really warmed. 
I originally planned to stay for one day, but I didn’t want to leave. I stayed for three days. 
Friends who come to Dali sincerely recommend this hotel. It is absolutely the best value for money. In addition, A kind reminder that the ultraviolet rays here are really strong, so you must take good sun protection when you go out.
