The Castle is truly an exceptional hotel! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a wonderful fragrance — which I later discovered was the scent of the hotel’s own amenities. I loved it so much that I even purchased the body lotion with the same scent. 😍 Located on a hill, the hotel offers a breathtaking view of Xinghai Bridge, so beautiful that I didn’t even want to leave. In fact, I ended up canceling my planned schedule just to spend more time at the hotel! Even though it’s slightly away from the city center, there’s no need to worry — taxis were always easy to get, and we never experienced any inconvenience. The room was absolutely beautiful and spotless. Not only was the room condition perfect, but every staff member we met was incredibly kind and attentive. I would especially like to express my gratitude to a staff member named Zora.💘 After I checked out, I realized I had left some clothes in my room. Even though I contacted the hotel a week later, she kindly checked for me, sent photos through WeChat, and helped me get my belongings back. I’m truly thankful for her assistance. If I ever come back to Dalian, I will definitely stay at The Castle again. Great hotel with great views to Ocean and Xinghai Square. Facilities and breakfast are very good.

The building itself is magnificent. It is the kind that will take your breathe away and starts snapping before you complete check in. My friend who is Dalian native puts it. The hardware(the building) is great but the software(the service) needs upgrading. I worked out in the gym late one evening. Gym opens 24 hrs but swimming pool,sauna and steams room closes at 10:30 pm. The staffs who look after the gym and pool left me in the gym and switched off all the light in corridors leading up to the liftI was very confused and had to use my phone torch to get to the lift. It is the lack of awareness for services which put me off. Breakfast was acceptable but nothing outstanding. Next time I will try grand hyatt so that I can compare.

## Wonderful Family Stay at The Castle Dalian We stayed as a family for four nights at The Castle Dalian and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Our spacious and beautifully decorated room on the 12th floor offered stunning views of the sea, making our stay truly memorable. The hotel’s entrance lobby is impressively large and elegantly designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. For families with children, there is a large play area available, which requires an additional fee. Fortunately, hotel guests receive a discounted rate. Outside, the hotel boasts a charming small park with fantastic views over the bay and lovely landscaping—perfect for a relaxing stroll. The hotel is situated on a small hill, so the walk back to the city center is a bit long. However, the free shuttle bus service is very convenient, providing easy transport down to the city and back. Our room was thoughtfully furnished and very spacious, including a large and well-equipped bathroom. One minor downside was that there was only one power outlet next to the bed (on one side only), and no USB ports for charging phones, which would have been a nice addition. Breakfast and other meals at the hotel were delicious, with a rich selection of both Chinese and Western dishes to choose from. The only area for improvement would be the cleanliness of the restrooms in the breakfast restaurant, which unfortunately were often untidy and in need of more frequent attention. The swimming pool, maintained at 27°C, was not ideal for small children as there is no separate kids’ section. Guests should also note that wearing a swim cap is mandatory. The pool area includes a mini Finnish sauna and a steam sauna integrated into the changing rooms. However, there are only loungers next to the pool, so the sauna experience was quite different from the relaxing sauna visits we are used to in Europe. Overall, The Castle Dalian offers a lovely stay with beautiful views, excellent food, and family-friendly amenities, making it a great choice for travelers visiting the area.

We booked this hotel because of its unique castle design. We enjoyed our stay. Rooms are big and clean. Staffs are friendly. We can see the cross sea bridge from our room. Breakfast is good. There’s also a nice garden on the 5th floor
