The room was quite spacious, and the best part is there's a supermarket right outside, which is incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a pretty comfortable stay. "The location is the plus point for this hotel.It is very near the Metro station,easy to catch didi and convenient to walk to the street snacks at old dalian street.Eateries are nearby and just around the corner.Dalian market is just behind the old dalian street.Just walk to the end of the snack street and across is Mycal shopping centre and Dalian market.Don't miss the numerous food stall inside Dalian market. It's amazing the variety of food inside.Mr.Wang of Mercure is very helpful at the front office and gave us a souvenir. Unfortunately, it can't be said for two young lady staff attending to us when we checked out.They were rude and lack good manners you expect from the hospitality sector and from Mercure hotel.Basically they lack training.The coffee machine during breakfast is ridiculous and doesn't work properly. Kitchen staff lacks enthusiasm ,coffee mugs were not washed promptly and not available for hot drinks during peak breakfast time and breakfast is just mediocre.The bedsheets had blood stains and we had to complain to have it changed.As mentioned, the location is fantastic."

"After looking at many hotels, I finally settled on Riyueming. The price and environment are both great, and it includes breakfast. I stayed for two consecutive days, and the breakfast menu changed daily and was delicious. Drinks and bottled water are complimentary, and the service attitude is also very good. Since it's the off-season, there weren't many people. I'll definitely go back next time."

"Our trip to Dalian was plagued by continuous heavy fog and many inconveniences. However, the Novotel hotel turned out to be the highlight of our journey, completely exceeding our expectations. The convenient surroundings, the spotless room, the relaxing aroma permeating the lobby, and especially the breakfast – with its rich and varied selection that hardly repeated day to day, and excellent quality – all left a deep impression on us. Due to a canceled flight, we returned to the hotel, and the front desk even upgraded our room type. The doorman's thoughtful service, like offering an umbrella when we went out and helping us hail a taxi from the intersection to the hotel entrance on a rainy day, made us feel incredibly warm and welcome. So, if I have the chance in the future, I will definitely consider Novotel again."

"The hotel staff were incredibly kind and provided excellent, enthusiastic service. Our room was spacious, very clean, and perfectly soundproofed, making it wonderfully quiet. The hotel is located right next to Venice Water Town, and the view from our window, whether during the day or at night, was absolutely stunning. It's also very close to Donggang Metro Station, which makes getting to all the attractions super convenient. When we were checking out, we were in a rush, and once the staff knew, they immediately helped us bring our three suitcases down to the lobby, saving us a long wait for the elevator. We're so grateful for that! We'll definitely stay at Yuehe again next time we're in Dalian."

"Hotels in Dalian are indeed cheaper during the off-season. I chose one based on Trip.com's recommendation, and the customer service reached out half a day beforehand to confirm my check-in time. They even allowed an early check-in since a room was available, which was a very thoughtful touch. The hotel boasts modern facilities, including a projector. It was rainy during my stay, so watching movies on the big screen in the hotel was incredibly enjoyable. The front desk also provided umbrellas. There are many popular attractions around the hotel, and Zhongshan Square is just an 800-meter walk away. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and you could grab water freely from the front desk. They also offered coffee and honey water upon request. The laundry room on the first floor was very comfortable. Kudos to all the staff for their excellent service!"

"The room was spacious and comfortable with a fantastic view from the large windows. It's right opposite Pavilion, and there's an underground passage directly from the hotel so you don't even have to brave the cold outside. Housekeeping came to clean every day, and ordering takeout was super convenient – a robot even delivered it right to my door! One night I was really craving a can of peaches. I ordered some via delivery, but I couldn't open the can myself. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and enthusiastically twisted it open for me. I really appreciate it – they saved my late-night craving! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Dalian!"

The hotel's breakfast is also great, and most importantly, it tastes delicious!"

"I found this place online, and after seeing the good reviews, I booked a three-night stay. When I arrived, the front desk upgraded my room. It was spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, with a separate wet and dry area. All the necessary amenities were provided, and I had a distant sea view from the window. I slept really well all three nights – it was very quiet. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the subway, and you can take Line 2 directly from the airport, which is super convenient. The price was great, and I was very satisfied."

"I originally booked a double room, and to my delight, I got a free upgrade to a suite when checking in, which gave me two separate rooms. The beds were 1.8 meters wide, so I slept very comfortably. The living room was also very spacious, perfect for spreading out my luggage. The location is excellent; before arriving, I saw many recommendations to buy groceries at Dalian Shopping Mall, and to my surprise, it's right across the street from the hotel. There's also a night market downstairs, and getting to all the attractions was very convenient. I took taxis everywhere, and the fares were very cheap. I used points to redeem breakfast, and the buffet had a good variety of options, enough to fill you up even if you're a picky eater. The cold noodles (dà lā pí) at breakfast were delicious! Oh, and there were vendors selling Dalian cherries downstairs. After checking out so many places and prices, the price downstairs was incredibly good value for money. If I come back to Dalian, I'd definitely consider staying at this hotel again."
