The hotel is in a good location. Rooms are clean, would be useful to have individual oxygen supply for each room. The breakfast is delicious and varied. Hot springs not available at our time of travel.

Snow Garden Hotel is almost a ******* Museum: on almost every wall is something of cultural interest.
As is so often the case in China the group of young women on reception duties band together to help the linguistically challenged foreign tourist.
The hotel is situated in Jinzhu Town, which is about half way between Daocheng Airport and Yading Scenic Area, helpful for acclimatisation. It is on one of the main streets, with easy access to shops and eateries.

Really nice hotel conveniently located near restaurants and museum. Good place to stay if passing through to Yading, Kaeding, or Chengdu. The hotel has a decent breakfast with a variety of options, all Chinese.
The hotsprings were closed when I was there due to the government having a meeting the next day. Why they couldn't have them opened made no sense, but it costs extra to utilize them anyway.
The rooms are equipped with oxygen pumps for 100 RMB a day if you need. The elevation is around 4100 meters so if not acclimatized could be an issue.
Rooms are modern, very large, and include comfortable beds, large TV with hundreds of channels, for free, but very common in many Chinese hotels.
Bathrooms are large with separated showers and toilets, as well as sink and mirror. Overall a very quality room with American standard. Highly recommend for a night.

The hotel's excellent service adds more charm to the snowy plateau. The rich breakfast and free supper in the evening add luster to Daocheng. In particular, the ******* airport pick-up guy Doji arranged by the hotel has a strong affinity. I am an elderly man in his seventies who went to the high altitude area alone. With an uneasy mood, Doji presented me with a white Hada as soon as I got off the plane, which instantly made my uneasy heart disappear. He also helped me carry my luggage, took photos along the way, and sent the luggage to the room, which made me feel at home. When sending me to the airport, due to the flight delay, Doji stayed with me for fear that I would feel unwell. He did not leave until the take-off, which moved me even more. I was worried about altitude sickness when staying at an altitude of 3,500 meters. The hotel's oxygen supply equipment was super good, quiet and sufficient. I had the best sleep of this trip!
