Stayed at Sinclairs Darjeeling with family for four days. It was a very comfortable stay with consistent service throughout the stay. Starting from their house keeping staff to the restaurant staff, we were always greeted with politeness and a smile. During this trip I fell ill and the restaurant staff were kind enough to accommodate our requests while dining. We even made special requests for certain dishes and they obliged with a smile. Special mention to the tandoori chicken tikka - it was delicious. The property is well maintained and kept clean all the time. The location of the hotel is ideal and you get an early morning view of Kanchenjunga if you’re lucky with the weather. Given the hotel is situated on a hill top, the hotel provides complimentary pick up and drop off to the base of the hill so very comfortable for those with knee problems or the elderly. Having stayed at several chain hotels - our stay at Sinclairs happens to be one of the best. Any time I am coming back to Darjeeling, for sure staying here.

We have a very pleasent experience staying in this hotel . All the staffs are very cooperative . The food is excellent and of very good quality . The kitchen staff are always ready to help you with the food as per your requirement . They will always serve you with smiling face . We enjoyed our stay very much . Notonly that as the entry of the hotel is very steep they always provide us with the car for going up and down . I will always stay in this hotel next time when we will visit Darjeeling

We put up in the Kanchanjungha room and the Premier room for the two nights that we spent at the Sinclairs Hotel in Darjeeling. The Kanhenjungha room has an amazing full wall glass window with an unobstructed view of the Darjeeling town and the Kanchenjugha. The room was plush with beautiful furniture. The third bed for my son was duly arranged for. We spent the second night in a Premier room with an almost equally mesmerizing view of the Kanchenjugha. This room had modern furniture and decorations. The breakfast on either morning was just awesome. The spread was quite extravagant. The staff was extremely courteous and was always available at hand for the slightest of needs. Me and my son spent nice time playing Table Tennis and Carrom. The location is quite central. The mall is just a short walk away. Just that the approach to the hotel is an uphill pathway which might appear steep for aged people. But the hotel arranges for a commute to and fro which is of big help. Will certainly visit this place again. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Sinclair’s Darjeeling for 5 nights in the Kanchenjungha room #300 and Burra Sahib Suit #301. Our stay was very comfortable and the hotel personnel did their best to provide us with a great experience. The housekeeping staff were very efficient and catered to our needs for extra blankets and warm water. The staff at the Kanchenjungha restaurant provided us a gastronomic experience starting from breakfast. The food was delicious. Special mention needed for Yogen, Anil, Pragya, Gyani and Akash. They were really great. The Cons: It’s a steep climb up to the hotel, however they have a shuttle service which can be availed of.

Great location, near the Mall. Helpful manager and staff. Good food. And, great views of Kanchenjunga. Informative and interesting posters in corridors and public areas. If refurbished, the hotel would score 5/5. Shame that barely working heaters, out-of-order games equipment, etc are frustrating blemishes

A door bell would be a very helpful, slippers for the rooms are not very comfortable. Room heater was not easily visible but it was there under the chair. Bathroom was cleans. All the staffs are very cooperative. The only thing i would like to mention is the climb while entertaining the property is quite steap

Overall it was a nice experience. The staffs are really courteous and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The food tasted good. The ambience and the rooms have really nice Kanchazenga view. Please do consider this place if you’re thinking to visit Darjeeling.

Our 3-night, 4-day stay at Sinclairs Darjeeling was fantastic. From the warm welcome with Darjeeling tea to the courteous staff and well-maintained property, everything was excellent. The rooms were cozy and equipped with useful amenities like an electric kettle. The partial view room offered serene hill views, while the balcony provided breathtaking vistas of Kanchenjunga. Breakfast was a highlight, with a wide range of options, perfect for a heavy meal before a day of sightseeing. The in-house restaurant also catered to our vegetarian preferences without onion or garlic, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel features a games room and children’s play area, adding to its appeal for families. However, the entrance road has a steep gradient, which may be challenging for those with mobility issues, though it is easily accessible by car. Overall, Sinclairs Darjeeling offers stunning views, great service, and a comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
