"The hotel is very well located, in the main area of the city, close to several tourist attractions and public transportation. The train station is a few minutes' walk away, about 15 to 20 minutes. The reception is on the second floor and the service is quick. The room is small, lacking decoration and extremely basic. There is no refrigerator or minibar, no amenities, no hairdryer and the bedding is simple. The room is quiet, but tiny. The TV only has German channels, with no option to change the language to English. It is not a smart TV. Everything is old, but considering the prices of other hotels in the city it is a good option. I recommend it for 1 or 2 nights only."
"Hotel Review – Hotel Ocidental Dresden Newa
I recently stayed at Hotel Ocidental Dresden Newa, and while the property benefits from a central location in the inner city, the overall experience was disappointing.
The hotel’s greatest advantage is indeed its proximity to the city center, allowing convenient access to major attractions and public transportation. However, aside from this, the stay was overshadowed by several shortcomings.
Firstly, the amenities were very limited, and the guest room itself appeared dated and somewhat worn, reflecting the age of the hotel. This left an impression of tiredness rather than comfort.
The most concerning issue, however, relates to the parking situation. The hotel advertises that it offers its own parking facilities, yet in reality, this is not the case. Guests are required to use a public parking facility nearby, which is misleading and highly inconvenient. This information should be corrected immediately, as it creates false expectations for visitors arriving by car.
Additionally, the area in front of the hotel is consistently overcrowded with parked vehicles, often blocking arriving guests from accessing the entrance or unloading luggage during check-in. This further contributed to a frustrating arrival experience.
In conclusion, while the central location is undeniably practical, the limited amenities, outdated rooms, misleading information about parking, and poorly managed entrance area significantly detract from the overall quality of the stay. I would strongly recommend the management address these issues to ensure a more accurate representation of the hotel and a better experience for future guests."
"It was a bit far from the main tourist attractions.
It was a bit far from the Dresden tourist center, and public transportation (No. 81 or No. 478) near the hotel did not come often, so it was difficult to manage time efficiently. From the next day, I checked the bus schedule and moved according to the time, but it was a bit inconvenient to take the bus to the main tourist attractions and then transfer to the tram in the middle. You can take tram No. 3 near the hotel to go to the main tourist attractions without transferring, but it takes about 15 minutes on foot from the hotel, and it was burdensome to walk back to the hotel in the dark at night.
It was a small hotel, but it was clean and everyone was friendly."
"Location for hotel was perfect. Very near to Dresden Central Station. Lots of shopping areas just below the hotel and nearby. The room is abit small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices. From hotel to the main attraction are within walking distance."
"Great location, almost within sight of the train station with a mall and abundant dinning options nearby. To the other direction are the sites you came to see in Dresden, close. The room is very modern, comfortable, and equipped with essentials like coffee. Downstairs is a comfortable bar and breakfast area - loaded with dozens of people during my visit. The staff were friedly if busy. Great price on the room and breakfast - which was great."
"The room facilities and cleanliness were decent, and breakfast was good. Convenient public parking was available downstairs. It's within walking distance of major attractions. The hotel is located right next to the train station. While this is convenient, the soundproofing isn't great, and it can get quite noisy at night from the trains and street."
"Excellent hotel in a quiet location. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Very clean room with coffee machine and kettle. Luxurious bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all the sights of Dresden. Walking distance to the train station is 15-20 along a safe route (I walked alone and at night with a noisy suitcase), but you can also take the tram. If I come to Dresden again - only to NH!"
"Excellent service. Tram 7.5 hours to the center itself. Drinks in a mini bar. One request to the hotel - make it possible to contact for a late arrival warning via WhatsApp. We had to contact acquaintances to call"
"In addition to the church you can go into and take a look at next to the hotel, you can also stroll along the Elbe River. You can see a porcelain shop just outside the hotel. The porcelain shop is very exquisite, but the prices are a bit expensive."

GGuest UserIt’s a creative and colorful place with an exceptionally friendly staff! :)
The location is great. Affordable places to eat and a Rewe are very close. The building is located in a quite backyard. You can sleep like a baby in the wild heart of the Neustadt and you can easily go to bars and dancing locations or have a drink at their own bar in the same building. Across the street you can dance at the „Ostpol“, Glühwein and beer gardens, designers and tons of art are just around the corner. I recommend leaving the tram at the „Bischofsweg“ station. There is also a Café at that corner where you can get gluten-free pancakes 😍

GGuest UserWe spent 2 wonderful nights at LIMEHOME.
Good value for money.
There is no check-in desk, which requires you to follow the relevant check-in rules.
Online registration and you will receive a check-in code on the spot.
The location is strategic. Shops and supermarkets are plentiful.
The room is well equipped, the kitchen is fully equipped and there was a basic set of products, which was very convenient.
The bathroom is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable.
We didn't have enough time for those grandiose museums that we had planned. So we'll come again.
Absolutely recommend.

GGuest UserWe had a good night's rest at this hotel. It has a great location and new rooms with a good floor plan. This hotel was within 100 m of the Kreuzkirche Dresden so we were able to start our exploration of Dresden as soon as we got parked. The hotel's location is within 15 minutes walking distance of most of Dresden's main attractions that are south of the river and the good public transit in Dresden makes the city very easy to see lots.
The room was nicely appointed with blackout curtains, a chair that transforms into a bed, a desk with a chair, large TV, coffee/tea station and some good lighting. The only complaint we had about the room was that the air conditioning was not strong enough during our stay but we had a pretty good night's sleep at this quiet hotel. I thought the bed was comfy and pretty standard to Premier Inn but my wife found the mattress to be too soft for her.
The bathroom was nice and large with plenty of counter space and a large shower stall. There is this purple light you can turn on at night too so you don't disturb your partner which helps because it is a frosted glass door. It is very easy to get hot water in the faucet and shower here. The shower has an all in one body wash and the shower stall is huge compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Europe.
If you use the hotel's covered parking it costs 20 euros a night and there is covered/secured parking that costs 12-20 euros a night. We went with the uncovered parking lot that had a man there 24/7 and it was 12 euros for the night. There is a street right in front of the hotel that has no signage for parking but the front desk told us that if you park there there is a 60 Euro fine if you're caught.
We like breakfast in the morning at hotels we stay at in Europe but we found this one was very pricey. There are bakeries, cafes and even a McDonald's nearby that gave much better value for us.
We felt the location and price for the hotel was perfect for our time in Germany and would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Dresden because there is lots to see in this city.
버버들버들It's a bit far from the station. About 15 minutes on foot?? But most of the places worth visiting in Dresden are near the accommodation, so I think the location is really good. And there's a McDonald's and KFC downstairs, so it's good for eating. It's a bit far from the supermarket.

BBanyuexilouguSuper experience!
Location, can’t be better, facing the church, get full vision of the street, particularly in the morning when the streets are still quiet and empty. All the highlights are all walking distance. Lots of options of restaurants in the area;
Facility is clean and well maintained, and everything you need is can be found in the room. Suitable for family travel with children as well. We found it very comfortable in the room, and we slept very well. Once the window is closed, you won’t be bothered by the outside sound.
The city is very nice, we are very glad that we spent one night here in such a great place.

SSmithOne of our favourite hotels we’ve ever visited. We loved the style of the hotel and the incredibly friendly reception, who provided us with an amazing suite for the duration of our stay! 10/10 would recommend for anyone considering a stay in Dresden. While it is not completely central, it is well connected with the tram and Dresden Mitte nearby and only a 10 minute walk to the Altstadt.

SSylkeThe accommodation is very central to the city centre. The reception lady is friendly and nice. The room was convenient and clean.
What we didn't know that refugees were located there that require security 24/7 and therefore have renounced reservation for breakfast because it came like in a youth hostel. This should be solved differently for hotel guests. Despite 24/7 Security and payment of parking fees, the car disk was shot at night, for several vehicles. In this situation, the staff was completely overloaded.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located about 400 to 500m from the Central Station. To me, it felt like an old East German office building repurposed as a hotel. Our hotel room was very basic. It featured two steel bed frames with rather firm mattresses. Taller guests (185cm and above) might find their feet hitting the higher end of the bed frame. There was a table in the room. No wardrobe was provided, only a small rack for hanging jackets or towels. The bathroom is small, equipped with a sink, shower, and toilet. Everything was reasonably functional. Breakfast is available, but we preferred to use the local bakeries in town instead. The hotel is good and suitable for those with simple needs and a small budget.
XXiaolongThere are ants in the room on the first floor of the villa. The environment is beautiful, the breakfast is good, the swimming fee is 5 euros per person, and the children are half price. Parking is charged. Don't be together like a stranger
