Let’s be real—when you book a Premier Inn, you know exactly what you’re getting: a comfortable bed, great pillows, and a steaming hot shower. But what sets this Premier Inn apart isn’t just the amenities—it’s the incredible team. Dawn, the night manager, is simply outstanding. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Need a local recommendation? She’s got the best tips, from food spots to the perfect pub. Lost? She’ll guide you. Need a taxi? Dawn has it sorted. She’s a walking, talking concierge service wrapped in warmth, efficiency, and a wicked sense of humour.. But this review isn’t about Dawn. As a solo female traveler, there’s always a small worry when you’re unwell in an unfamiliar town—especially late at night. It was nearly midnight on a rainy Saturday when I started feeling unwell. The last thing I wanted was to navigate an app, search for a late-night pharmacy, or wander the streets alone. So, I headed down to reception, where I met the incredible Cai. Without hesitation, Cai found multiple options for me. But with the cold, the rain, and my exhaustion, the thought of a long walk in the dark wasn’t appealing. No problem—Cai went above and beyond, ensuring I felt safe, supported, and not alone in an unfamiliar place. His kindness and reassurance meant the world to me in that moment. Yes, every Premier Inn guarantees a good night’s sleep, but at Eastbourne Town Centre, you’re also guaranteed a team that genuinely cares. The staff here don’t just do their jobs—they go out of their way to help. So, thank you, Cai, for your kindness, and for looking after me when I needed it most. You made all the difference

This is a typical Premier Inn, standard rooms are comfortable, clean and come with work desk and chair and teh usual tea / coffee tray and free top ups. Bathroom has good supply of hot water and Bayliss and Harding toiletries. Wifi is a bit slow. Staff are very nice and helpful and I would like to name Matt, Dawn and the lady whose name I forgot to write down who served me at dinner on the night of 6th Feb. Food is good although a hotel by the sea might be expected to have more fish options. Breakfast the standard buffet fare. There are Premier Plus rooms with a few extras and allegedly quicker wifi but I was told it was not much better. You also get a tiny bar of Green and Blacks chocolate.

Dawn on reception deserves an award for best customer service. So friendly and accommodating to me and my family. The breakfast and room was also top notch! I can't recommend this premier inn enough, really enjoyed our stay and will be using this premier inn again next time we're in Eastborne.

Well I was not going to leave a review after our last stay here but it truly left a bitter taste that I have decided to write one. We have been staying here for the past few years after our first fantastic experience upon trying here rather than staying at The View on the seafront but after our last visit never ever again and back to The View where we know the standards are consistent in future. As my title says fake insincere friendliness which we noticed from the beginning to which it’s best I say no more and without a doubt the rank food. A complete shame to lose Trevor from the kitchen but it is more than that as the quality of ingredients was appalling, The ingredients used at breakfast was shocking, no longer the good quality bacon and sausages but cheap disgusting ones that tasted like old sour pig. The dinner servings was ridiculously small and on mentioning this to the manager Georgina her response was she would speak to the chef as it’s done by weight guidelines from head office. Seriously you weigh peas, chips etc etc . Is this really what staying at the Premier Inn has become? Where is the common sense in all this? What went from being one of our favorite Premier inns to being one to completely avoid is truly sad. No ultimate wifi was provided as clearly stated in the booking and also a small double bed rather than a king size again as stated in the booking. Yes the bed has not changed from before but the mattress and topper has resulting in truly poor sleep. It was always a double but the room is huge and why sell the Premier Inn Plus rooms on the premise of a King size bed to you getting just a small double is wrong. All of it is complete false & fraudulent advertising of Premier Inn Plus rooms.

I usually stay at the Premier inn in Polegate when I'm visiting my family in Eastbourne (that's because of parking), but as i was travelling solo by train i thought i'd try the town centre Premier inn. Very clean with brilliant staff and in a great central position. If you don't have or need a car then i highly recommend staying there.

We arrived quite late in the evening after a journey plagued with fog, traffic and roadworks. Dawn and Bryony gave us a very warm welcome. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant at the hotel, and Elena could not have been more helpful, even advising us of the meal deal available at restaurant, saving money on dinner and breakfast the next day. All of the staff were courteous and polite throughout our three night stay, but the ones named by us were brilliant. This was just what we needed after a challenging journey. Thank you.
