The place is in a very good location. The staffs are helpful when facing problems. The shower room and toilet are separated. I would stay here again if I come back to Edinburgh. I would recommend bringing your earplugs with you if you’re sensitive to noises when sleeping. They help a lot. Also, bring your padlocks for storage case if you don’t want to buy it at the counter for £2.

Great hostel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, been going there for years and will return in the future..Only fault is there could be a quiet designated area to eat and read and relax. The bar dominates the social area.

The location was great, just off the Royal Mile so easy to get around the city. Service was good, Check-in and Out was easy, however we booked two separate single beds but ended up in a bunk bed which was slightly annoying, otherwise all in all pretty good for a Hostel.

The location is perfect! Walking distance to different shops and sites. And there’re delicious restaurants nearby. You can also eat and drink in the bar inside of hostel. The staff is very nice.
It’s good that the shower bathrooms and toilet rooms are separated (and they have 2 toilet rooms and 2 shower rooms) so that I won’t worry about peeing myself.
However, it’s inconvenient that not every bed also hv charging port on bed. The room has charging port but some bed has individual port while some don’t have.

The location was great for sightseeing.
Although we had booked a twin room we actually had 4 beds. The room was clean & warm.
One lift wasn’t working but the other was quick & efficient.
The bar was good during the day but quite noisy at night & into the early hours.
We liked being able to use the luggage store.
I noticed there was a laundry which we didn’t need to use but I feel this is a good facility.

Three of us came in and one bed was not made up, the front desk gave us bed covers and then made it up the next day.
