It was an old hotel right in front of the Scott monument. I loved the location, it was very convenient. The room also had a bath, which is rare for a room within its price range. Breakfast was rather simple, but was enough for me. I highly recommend.

Fantastic location and good food,does have flights of stairs to enter to reception and unsure if has disabled lift to allow access to hotel so would advise checking if have mobility issues

Very good location. It’s easy to access old and new both town. Reception is first floor but no lift so if your luggage is heavy that’s gonna be hard to carry.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is just next to the railway station. However, the hotel itself is a bit old.

Very good hotel with excenllent views. The buffet style full English/Scotish breakfast is so goooood after a hangover from the bar within the hotel which operates 24 hours (almost!!).
I also stole beer from the tap while the bartender was away and he laught at it and did not cause any trouble although the bartender next told me that the previous night bartender should be treated with caution lol. They were both fabulous.

Perfect location. The door lock is jammed when I checked in. But the front desk helped us solve the issue as soon as possible. You can have the view of Scott Monument from the room. The room is very clean. But there are not enough sockets in the room, and you need to take stairs to get up to the room.
